Forget the manning talk, lets discuss all the other potions of need and who you think will be the first free agent signing of the Philbin/Ireland era?

I want to hear you thoughts on what and who will be the first free agent we sign..

The obvious hole is QB, but I think were on hold for a few days with that one FLYNN or Manning within 2 days. So I am going to go out on a limb and say we immediately look at the safety position and Oline.

Who is beyond me but I think they might look at LaRon Landry at safety talented veteran some injuries but could be gotten at a decent price) or Brandon Meriweather

as for the Oline I think we look for a guard or Interior Lineman Ben Grubs or Carl Nicks would be a NICE fit.

What do you guys think will be our first free agent position and player?

My thought is we should sign Saturday and Wayne. Even if Peyton dogs us we can use a well seasoned center like Saturday and then Pouncey can move to RG where he played most of his career, and when Saturday does decide to hang it up, Pouncey would have a few years next to him and learn somethings from him. Wayne is a good prospect as we can use him opposite Marshall. Just my thoughts but I feel these would help out no matter what.

I agree on the Saturday/Wayne signings. Not only do they help us, but I think it helps sway Manning to signing with us as well.

Other top FA's I'd very happy to see signed by the Phins include; Mario Williams, Kamerion Wimbley, Curtis Lofton, LaRon Landry.

Probably Winston, because its not that ****ty Parcells Logic, unless we overpay for a lineman.

    Miami NEEDS a QB.
and now Miami NEEDS a WR.

Those should be the priorities right now.

Miami is GOING for a QB.

There is PLENTY of TIME to get another two WRs.

So with your logic Miami should miss out on the best right tackle in free agency because they have to do something in order.

We NEEDED a WR before the Marshall trade. When your #1 WR scores all of 9 TDs in 2 years, you should be looking for a new #1.

Oh please. I could just say name some WRs we have plenty of time to get, but that'd be too easy. Name some you actually think this FO has a chance of getting or are even slightly tangible for us with the competence they have shown. Big difference.

If we sign Winston, I could see us next signing Reggie Wayne, and drafting Michael Floyd to pair with him.
2nd round we could take best available TE...one of Allen, Fleener or Charles should be available.
3rd round we could take a LG like Senio Kelemete or James Brown.
    Potential lineup of
    WR Wayne
    WR Floyd
    TE Fasano
    TE Allen
    LT Long
    LG Kelemete
    C Pouncey
    RG Incognito
    RT Winston
    QB Flynn
    RB Bush/Thomas

Would you like that better than our opening day lineup last season?

    Really?

Every WR in the draft, including Blackmon now that Miami has an extra third to play with.

I knew you'd say that which is why i said WRs we would actually get. Not what we SHOULD get. What this FO WILL get ...... Try again now

These are guys I'd consider at WR:

    Reggie Wayne
    Brandon Lloyd
    Laurent Robinson

Mike Wallace would be nice, but not with the 1st round tender

Or you could refer to all the great WR talent we have picked up on the first....second...or even third rounds.....with this FO....ever....Edit.. are we talking about the same team? Am I speaking Chinese? This FO spending high draft picks on real deep threats or offensive talent? Please. Huge difference between what we should get and what we end up with. That's pretty much been our MO as of recent

Huge difference between knowing what you are talking about and complaining over nothing.

Talk to me when the offseason is over, especially since they did use two 2nd round picks on Brandon Marshall which shatters your point.

No, because there is no language called "Chinese". You would most likely be speaking Mandarin or if you were older, then Cantonese.

I didn't realize we drafted Marshall.... Also. You're right. We have drafted legit playmakers with our high picks. Forgive me. We should expect more of the same
