Griffball is the new gametype for the double XP weekend. I was pissed when I missed it last time so I figured I'd throw it up for any who actually still play Halo
Its played on the foundry map with all objects removed. There is a neutral bomb that each team tries to plant on the other teams end of the map. There are no grenades or weapons on the map but you start with sword and hammer. Whoever picks up bomb gets an overshild and a speed movement bonus to try and get through to plant it. Very hectic with lots of betrayals.
I like griffball when I can get my timing down. When you have your timing you can do a lot of damage. My favorite double xp is swat, where you have your battle rifle and only head shots get you the kill. I can be a pretty quick and accurate draw most of the time.
Swat is my favorite playlist. I wish they would take the radar out of regular slayer, too. It makes it so much more tactical.
