Reggie Bush. Certainly made an impact last season and we only had to swap 6th rounders. You can't just snap your fingers and acquire impact players. Plus the fact that I'm only counting his years without Parcells. This isn't Madden you don't just get whatever players you want because you are smarter than a computer.

Our offensive line has still been atrocious with him. We've struggled to run with him. We've struggled to protect the QB with him. Left Tackles are not impact players in the NFL, no matter how good they are. Maybe back in 1980. I can't even tell you the starting LT's for the last 4 teams to make the Superbowl. Matt Light is the only one. A mid 2nd round pick at that.

Not sure anyone would really know unless we were in the room. All I know is Jake is considered one of the top Tackles in the game. He was brought in during Irelands tenure. Not saying he was the right pick at the time just saying he is a quiet impact player. If you are looking for an impact player who puts up points i would say Ireland probably has failed. We have none.
Don't have any impact players on defense either. Gets tiring watching a defense that can't force turnovers or defend the pass.

I just don't understand how a fan, who can afford season tickets, would discontinue the service because said fan wasnt happy with an executive in the front office.. I agree with this. Despite my dislike for Jeff Ireland I still cheer like crazy every Sunday for my Dolphins. Hell, I even cheered like hell every Sunday last year, even though deep down I truly believed losses would help this team more than wins. Fin D can think whatever the hell he wants about me, I couldn't give a crap. We obviously have differing view of the FO at the moment, but I can guran-damn-tee you he is no bigger or better a fan than I or any other poster here who shares my view. I support many players for many of the teams in South Florida. I still spend nearly five thousand dollars a year attending games for the various sports franchises in this area. I understand your anger at my refusal to support the Dolphins by purchasing tickets at this time. I do have a major problem with Ross and Ireland and not purchasing tickets is my way of expressing my own anger at the direction this team has taken under their direction. I don't see how me refusing to support a team owner I don't agree with has anything to do with our culture being in the "toilet', but you are certainly entitled to your opinion.
