    I was in my best friend's wedding. I cleaned him up after his bachleor party. I would kill or die for him and his family.

    I'm not going to sign him to a large contract to do something I'm not sure he can do.

    It isn't a witch hunt. It is how it is.

    They knew going in that they wouldn't offer him Kevin Kolb type money, for good reason. Didn't matter how much Philbin pushed for him, the money they were going to offer is the money they were going to offer. Now another GM might think....hmmm, if my coach is pushing so and so hard for a guy....maybe we offer him a little more to see if he comes. OR, maybe Philbin doesn't have any stroke when it comes to player decisions. Maybe Ireland is the be all end all. Either way....Philbin isn't getting across IF he pushed that hard for him.

    But this isn't about Flynn and it isn't about Philbin. I feel bad for Philbin because he really had no clue what he was getting himself into. If anyone was having buyers remorse right now, it is probably Philbin. So what will he get in the end? Tebow. Yeah...I am sure you are thrilled about that one. But that is a deal YOUR GM will make.

    Or maybe they feel Flynn didn't have any more upside than Moore considering the cost.
    Seems like a more feasible explanation to me.
