I don't think youve undervalued his individual performance or potential, just how important he's been so far

The only one worth going to is www.soflamarlins.com

Be warned though, we like to pick on newcomers for fun. Especially if you say anything silly. Don't take it personally though because after you get through "initiation," everyone is incredibly knowledgeable and you'll learn a lot.

Lol I was wondering the same thing. This is awesome. Apparently Rich & Tommy just said no commercials because of technical difficulties. I love it!

Stanton will go into the Hall of Fame as the player who hits grand slams with his dong, not a baseball bat.

I was there. We sat about 10 feet away from the scoreboard. That place absolutely exploded.

Nah it was a good crowd though. Especially for a weekday game against a garbage opponent.

It actually made me feel warm inside to hear the crowd cheer for Stanton when he was announced his next AB. That reaction NEVER happened at Sun Life.

So ESPN estimated the distance at 462. I assume they guessed this as if it never hit the scoreboard because the initial distance was 438 I believe.

Hearing the crowd erupt when the count was 3-2 giving us an actual home field advantage gave me chills. I got a full boner when they blew up when he smashed the GS with his cobra dong!!!

What I like the best was that they gave him a curtain call. I could be wrong, but I don't remember that ever happening at Sunlife.

Maybe during the 2003 playoff run? I don't remember. Let's give Sun Life a little credit, during that playoff run there was never a ballpark like that in MLB history.

Cause most ballparks dont fit 80k people

Seriously, that was magical! Ill never forget Juan Pierre catching the fly ball in deep center to clinch the WC!

I was like 13/14 there's not a lot I remember from that playoff run. I do remember Beckett pitching game 7 on short rest though and me being amped for that whole game.

Even if other ballparks fit 80k, never understimate how hard Miamians hit the bandwagon. And the liquor. And the bandwagon again. :shifty:

Joe Robbie had its moments. Curtain calls happen, the crowd would get involved. Don't sell the fan base short lol. Not to say the move to a real stadium isn't an improvement, but there were actual fans at the old stadium too.

I still remember going to the '03 World Series when I was younger against the Yanks. Sat in the top row of the stadium under the scoreboard in the outfield in what was supposed to be Clemons' last game. Granted it was raining a lot that game, but man, what an unforgettable experience.

Stantons HR was measured at 122 MPH off the bat. For context, according to Rich and Tommy, that is the fastest HR off a bat since the stat has been tracked in 2006.
