Is it just me or does this team have no identity. What I am trying to say is I looked at them last night and the other games, and they don't resemble the Dolphins I am used to seeing, now I am not talking about last year. I am speaking of the 80',90's even last decade. Everyone is new, no leadership. No Killer instinct, absolutely noting. I know we are rebuilding but they don't want you hear those words. I guess I miss seeing Zach, J.Taylor, Brian Cox, R Williams, and the rest of them tough s.o.b's if you know what I mean. Don't get me wrong, I am glad we get Tanney, and I know Wake is a Kracken. When I saw D Thomas run up the middle and ran into a brick wall, I knew then we ain't the same. Ricky would have fallen forward, or made sure that Tackle will think twice before hitting him straight on again. Hope we find ourselves and someone has the cojones to Speak up and be leaders of this team and toughen up.
Not true, there are plenty of leaders. What I am worried about is that we don't have enough qualified followers. Tannehill, Bush, Long, Incognito, Wake, Dansby, Burnett are all leaders. We sure could use a few more....WR, DB, DL, etc. However, beyond those leaders are a bunch of followers that are still not ready for the task at hand.
We miss playmakers, on Offense (apart from Bush) and Defense (apart from Wake). I think thats what we are missing. Not enough playmakers.
