Pretty obvious they're trying to trade Matt Moore. Not so obvious is that they may be trying to cut Garrard when he's healthy enough to practice, in order to avoid an injury settlement. Just a theory. Not sure if it even holds water. I thought in order to have his salary fully guaranteed he needs to be on roster on the first game Sunday...so they could potentially wait another 8 days for him to get healthy and then cut him before the game. That would also help prevent teams from giving him a call immediately after we cut him.
Love the way they carefully crafted the list to sound large AND include Weeden haha. If they had said just under 25 Weeden is out. If they said just rookies the list is a bit smaller. Nice work.
Also, note how soft the market was on Kafka. No takers, so Eaglesd had to cut him. That said, the Eagles have a rep of QBds looking good there because of the Eagles, then looking bad elsewhere. We should benefit from the opposite perception, "Of course he couldn't do well in Miami, they aren;t good." Hoefully Moore's pre-season is being judged in that light by any prospective suitors.
