http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/09/02/v-fullstory/2982195/naysayers-dont-faze-miami-dolphins.html Dansby doing his thing..I like it..He's the unquestioned leader imo, and I do think he will have his finest year.Time to give them a chance to prove what their gonna be this year, and keep a close eye on our young players.
Hope so , he just needs to actually do it and remove himself from the decision he made last year. Prove it and produce full time.
For all the gnashing of teeth about Philbin not relating to or inspiring players, I don't recall our RB stating their goal is to get rushing title, the MLB getting 150 tackles and 7 ints, and the #1 receiver getting a 1000 yrds. I think the demise of our team by Philbin's "awkwardness" is greatly exaggerated.
i love the optimism. i can't wait for reggie to be used in the passing game. theres lots of things like that, that philbin is saving for the regular season. we are smart enough to not let the enemy evaulate what our season games will be like.
I don't care about Philbin's alleged awkwardness, but I am very concerned about the talent at WR and the depth at DB.
I'm tired of hearing about players with f*****g yardage goals. I want to watch wins. It's been too long. Beat Houston or STFU.
Karlos Dansby's making plays, starting very early in the season, is going to be a key in Ryan Tannehill's development IMO. The defense needs a leader by example who inspires the rest of the group if this defense is going to play in a way that allows the offense to stay balanced and keep the responsibility for winning off of Tannehill's shoulders. Dansby's playing with his hair on fire would be one of the things I'd be looking for from this team in game one against Houston.
My point is... Hartline, Dansby, or anyone else can talk all they want about personal goals. I'm not impressed by it, and I'm not buying it. I've heard this stuff before. I want to see it on the field.
