Great D line, good linebackers = very good run D

Strong OL, Lane, and cutback runners means big rushing totals.

I assume that's both games right? Are we leading the league or close to it?

We're going to start seeing eight in the box and corners squatting on the short routes, and Tannehill is going to have to beat it.

All valid points but I think it was important to see Hartline becoming the reliable go to receiver when a first down was needed .He was clutch.Without that threat the running game would not have been as effective IMO.

He looks like a good PA quarterback and he can move outside the pocket and hurt teams for that. Hartline can get 20-25 yards down the field, Bess 15-16 yards.

I'd like to see someone supplant Bess though. He doesn't have to be a burner just an all-around guy.

But not 17? Just messing with you but giving him a one yard window looks odd.

FWIW I'd much rather replace Hartline than Bess. Let's not forget he was going up against corners that wouldn't even make most NFL squads, and if they did it would be as a dime corner.

I wonder how high the 263 yards rushing ranks in team history for most yards rushing in a game?

You just seek me out don't you? Tell me which part of my statement wasn't true? Houston is good and we lost. Oakland is bad and we won. Is that not the case? And no, I'm not disappointed we didn't lose. I'm just seeing a trend here. We are gonna win enough games to have a middle of the road draft pick, but not enough to make the playoffs. Call me cynical, but I have no faith in this team. It comes from years of disappointment
