I want Daniel Thomas to come back, I think he might be better early in the game, Bush needed time to figure some sh&$ out..
No, it's not. Eight times in a row is just about always, as much as matters. Of course history matters. The differences you've listed haven't affected the outcomes in either series.
Name their center?, brooking, Willis, manning, stokely, bailey, Who the hell is zane beadle?, lol, Kevin vickerson, Derek Wolfe, Justin bannon, Dressen, thats an old team.
It is completely meaningless. What happens last year can change in an instant. Football trends change all of the time. I don't even believe you believe that, unless you did bet everything you own on Miami winning the game on Sunday. No, history doesn't matter. Team can change from year to year. It is a coincidence that the differences I've listed haven't affected the outcomes in either series. You cannot make future predictions based on things that happened in the NFL 10 years ago, 5 years ago and a lot of times, 1 year ago.
well texans was the week before and we have not beaten the raiders everytime we played them. actually we got crushed pretty good by them some years ago at home
I was "expert" enough to believe we'd beat the Raiders. If they weren't, then in this case I did know more than them.
Yes, the year we went 1-15, they beat us at home. Before that, they hadn't beat us at home since 1990.
Peyton is done. People get fooled when he has a good game, or a good stretch but he will never again be a consistently high level MVP QB. More like a roller coaster ride. Which Peyton will show up this week? I said it before the season, I said it in preseason when I saw his games, and I'll say it again... Peyton Mannings career is over. He just hasn't accepted it yet. He would make a good backup but his ego would never allow for that.
JD Walton is their Center. Zane Beadles is a guard out of Utah they drafted in like the 3rd round or so, a few years ago. He's a solid player. Wolfe is a rookie. The other three are all around 30, I'd guess. Not old. Bannan is actually 33. Vickerson is 29 and Dreessen is 30.
well i havent seen you in any threads before the game telling us this would be a gimme...maybe i missed it ?
I got a good chuckle out of that one. I heard it in my head in the same manner of Gary Coleman's "what you talkin bout Willis!"
Wonder why manning can throw a tight spiral very well, wonder if its lack of flexibility in the upper body at this point.
but it looks like its forbidden to acknowledge it, schefter has a post going on facebook , where he says that this MNF game is really going long so far in the 1st half, i mentioned that peyton looks shaky physically with his throws....it got deleted..
It's crazy how they lie and cover the truth to protect a marquee brand name. I noticed the analysts keep crediting the coverages for the INTs. Bull****. The balls are flutter balls.
Yup, his brain is linked with the arm he had from college through 2010, while his 2012 arm seems like a shell of it's former self, and b/c of this, all his instinctual/mental passing calculations based on timing etc will be off. IMO it could take him all year for his brain to adjust to his now inferior arm to where the timing is back on track. Just my opinion.
well he gets some zip on the throws now to the outside, maybe he needs to warm up now, but i'm still skeptical
did we ever complain about bess on punt returns.... jim leonhard is doing it for the broncos and its not pretty looking
I concede that point, but he's filled many of the other holes pretty well IMO. So, we can hold the WR deficiency as a failing grade, but he gets high grades elsewhere and comes out with a good, but not great, overall grade.
If history matters and makes a difference in the outcome of the game then they should have beaten us. Prior to the game the series was Oak 19 Dolphins 15 and 1 tie
I am sure the coaches know that hence the reason for Tanny starting so early. The more reps the better he will get .You can see the improvement he has made so far.
In all seriousness, I would like to see CK analyze Manning's velocity from MNF on the three picks (by no means a coincidence at 20+ yards down field) as they seemed to sail on him. I had ATL -3 for twice the reg units I normally wager. Nice end to a decent week.
