OK, my problems 1) we need real refs again, game tempo, crappy calls and they just look confused out there. 2) Armstrong, Nanee, they may as well be paperweights. Get rid of them activate Matthews or a frigging basset hound puppy it will be as effective. 3) Marshall? Marshall? Is everybody named Marshall bound it piss me off in a Dolphin uniform? He's probably still grabbing Jets receivers in the locker room because he seems to be addicted to it. 4) "hot sauce" - those cheating butt hounds If that Goodell does one thing right it should be to jam his investigation up the butt of Landry and the Jets for Bush's knee injury. 5) DAN "I'M PAID TO KICK FOOTBALLS" CARPENTER. Thanks for keeping us from being 2-1 you ***. 6) Daniel Thomas is a fumbler, not a good label to have.
Armstrongs big drop on 3rd down was the kind of play that could have been a td if he catches in stride. That play killed me. F carpenter. I'm not too mad at Marshall. Santonio is a better wr than he is a cb and today just confirmed it is all. But we already knew that.
I also thought that was a huge play that if Armstrong had caught it, the game is completely different.
The lack of playmakers outside was clearly magnified today. They committed to shutting down the run, which was a little easier with Thomas in there, and we had nowhere else to go. I think if you but Bowe and a good rookie on this team in the offseason, find a way to keep Bush and Long we are going to be a tough offense. We have the QB, the kid is smart, makes good checks and finds the open guy. Once he is more used to the speed of the game next year his passes are going to be hitting guys in stride and he's going to be tough. We should have won the game plain and simple. We were the better team all day, but for some reason we are just....... The Miami Dolphins. We search for ways to lose the game, we choke in the big moment, and we forget how to call plays when the game is close. I know many people are not going to like that statement, but honestly unless you were watching this team in the 60's or 80's that is all you know of this team. They are heart breakers, give you hope, hope, and more hope then crush your dreams.
That's two potential TDs he has dropped this season. If we don't grab at least one WR in the first 2 rounds this next year I will go freaking crazy.
Time on the practice field?!?! Are you kidding me? He dropped 3-4 passes by my count this game. A WR that can't catch is worthless...
Naanee before Armstrong please. Hes supposed to be our No2 WR isnt he? Remind me again how many balls hes caught after 3 games?
Matthews should take his place...he did nothing today but hurt the team, dropped critical passes that we're easy..we have a rookie in the waiting, cut him and play the rook.
I'm not going to attack you like you did Djokdj but he's not entirely wrong. This tram is real thin and if a guy is letting passes go through his hands you can find that anywhere. Better to give reps to folks that might hold on to a pass now and again.
1st, I attacked the post, not the poster. 2nd, you want to cut a guy for a dropped pass who has been here for only a few weeks and missed last weeks game. He clearly had a chance at a home run TD today if the pass wasn't overthrown. I'm not one of the knee jerkers here that expect every guy who comes in off the street to turn into a pro-bowler overnight. At least he has some catches this year. you want him taking reps from a rookie that has flashed some skills? At least demote his ***, you don't drop balls, you don't drop so damn easy balls,in big moments of a game, and expect to keep your job, especially when you were cut from your last team.
And who exactly has Matthews flashed skills against? If he was doing it in practice, I have to believe he'd be playing. This staff hasn't shown that they are afraid to play rookies with 3 others playing on offense. Next week I expect to see you say that we should cut Fasano or Hartline when they have 2 drops that were deemed catchable. Happens every game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So apparently we are into week 3 of the NFL season and the Dolphins do not have a #1 or #2 WR. How on earth is a rookie QB expected to succeed if never has an easy throw.
