Carpenter has been garbage, I don't know why we should look the other way when he can no longer make field goal attempts of 45 yards or more. He is a big reason we are not 3-1 right now.

I understand now the fist pump celebrations of Sparano with every FG by Carpenter. SMH

And now Connor Barth is kicking Fg's in the last 2 minutes as well. Also made a 57 yarder.

Mike Sherman blew that call. Go back and watch. Doesn't matter if you even get a yard there. You still eat clock and force them to burn a TO or you can run it down.
i'm surprised no one cared to notice.
That looked like Dan Henning to me. Put your QB in a situation to not be successful.

You are going to pin this game on a kicker. That is very laughable.

I am going to blame the secondary, we allowed them to pick up 2 4th downs on the drive that tied the game, that's unacceptable.

Becasue the last tw times the Offense held the ball, they were not close to the endzone to end the game...

They did put him in place with less 1 1/2 minutes to win the game again if he DID HIS JOB... Again he failed like he did last week...

I have to feel sorry for this guy though... He is facing a locker room that might not feel as bad as last week, but worse... I don't know how he will handle this let down...

Like Neene... Carpenter is not doing his job...

Which one was that? The one where he was hit while throwing it or the one where Hartline fell down? Or the dropped one where the safety made a probowl play on the ball?

Hahahahahaha.. a kicker that cost us 9 points in two games decided by 3 apiece in overtime. Yeah that has nothing to do with him... hahahahahahaha You could argue about today's game but he cost us the Jets game without a shadow of a doubt.

Well, I guess aside from Legedu, the Wr corps argument folks have been proven wrong in this one at least.

What I take from this game is the belief that the Dolphins have finally found the QB they have been looking for since Marino retired. Hopefully with all the draft picks the Dolphins have in the 2013 draft, they will be able to get players who can come in and instantly upgrade the secondary. Another quality WR and TE will certainly help the development of Tanneyhill and this is no knock on Hartline or Bess. Just a knock on the rest of the WR's on this team. They also need a TE who can actually get down field and catch the ball. Fasano is fine as a blocking TE, but the Dolphins need a more athletic player at that position.

I hate that the Dolphins lost today, but I am actually more positive about the future of this team than I have been in many years. Having a quality QB will do that for you. I have knocked Ireland on this forum many times, but today I will admit that I have very happy with his first round selection in this years draft. Tanneyhill made some rookie errors today, but overall he played an excellent game.

BTW, this is sort of what it was like in BC in 2010 when Travis Lulay first started, they found a way to lose.

Got hot at the end of 2010 and now have been the class of the CFL since then, this is one of the reasons why we may have a high draft choice in 2013, but a quality team, it takes time to learn how to win.

At least Bline+Bess, think they should put Matthews or Armstrong in to replace Bad Luck Legedu.

I forgot...Tannehill is the only QB in the league that throws ints. Wait....Aaron Rodgers threw one today....Mathew Stafford was sacked to end the game and his team is 1-3, Dalton threw a pick. Guess you'd rather have Gabbert? He threw a pick too though.. Sam Bradford threw a pick...WAIT! Russell Wilson threw three of them! Give me a friggin break man! He's just a kid give him a chance.

I think if the Dolphins can find a true #1 receiver, Hartline and Bess will be great #2 and #3 receivers for this team. Going into the game today. I admit I questioned if Hartline had what it took to be a top receiver in this league. I think he proved today and in the Oakland game that he is a quality receiver and if he just had more help than just Bess, he can be as effective for the Dolphins and Tanneyhill, as Wes Welker has been for years with the Patriots.

Yes they were painful, but unfortunately this has been the Dolphins story in recent years. They play well enough to make you feel they can win the game. Only to pull defeat from the jaws of victory. Hopefully they will learn how to close out these type games. Because until they learn to win these type games on a regular basis, they will just continue to break our hearts.

Another great personnel decision by Ireland. After we waived Barth in 2009, he later signed with the Bucs, and kicked three 50 yd plus FGs in their game against us.

Since we cut Barth, he's made 85% of his FGs, and during that time Carpenter has made 80.5%. Barth has made 7 of 10 over 50 in that time. Carpenter has made 7 of 14 during that time.

When this kid learns, which will be soon, watch out.

Marino got Duper and Clayton. If this kid gets the same kind of wideouts next draft or free agency, it's going to be deja vu all over again.
