Just saw this on NFL Total Access on NFL Network. 1. Peyton Manning 2. Aaron Rodgers 3. RGIII 4. Eli Manning 5 tied with Russel Wilson and our very own Ryan Tannehill. Kurt Warner giving some love to RT and 2 other rookie QB's on a top 5 QB list. Not a top 5 rookie QB list. My only thought is that a top 5 QB list shouldn't have 6 QB's on it. Russell Wilson should be booted down. lol
I respect Kurt Warner for all he's done and how great of a character he is, but what is he talking about there? Is this a list based off of last weeks games?
I really disagree with R. Wilson. Am I the only one absolutely not impressed with him? Their entire offense seems to have no reads. It's play action and chuck it deep. If the deep ball isn't there, check it down to the flat.
I don't even know who in heck is Russel Wilson? This HAS to be based solely on last week's games. Did Brady and Brees even play? Maybe one too many concussions Kurt, try not to think real hard, looks like he didn't.
Its obvious this list is based off last week. And I agree with that list, based on last week performance only
He does this each week. Rank the QB weekly, based on that week. Tom Brady week was overshadowed by Wilsons.
It really is hard to decide between Manning and Rodgers from last week. Really like Tannehill getting recognition.
I think all of you convinced me it most be based on last weeks performance. I changed the channel to NFL Network during a commercial break. But that is the exact title of the segmant and it is what showed on the scrolling topics of the show on the left side of the screen. "Kurt Warners top 5 QB's" It was the next subject to be talked about and when I saw it I saw the list from 5 down to 1. Now that I think about it each QB on the list showed clips of each QB from last weeks games.
I really can't agree....I haven't seen him do anything yet that would indicate long term success. I still haven't seen him make a read.
I'll take Rodgers over Manning. Manning threw a pick 6, even though it was more on the receiver. Great for Tannehill getting the kudos.
The list is Warner's list. I just like to see that someone is paying attention to our young QB and giving him props when he should be getting some. As we all know, we can't count on the Miami media to show our team some love, so if they get it from somewhere else, I don't care.
Pete Carroll freely admits that he's keeping it simple for Wilson and the strategy is working. that team is defense and running the ball first, QB clearly second. allows Carroll to build up Wilson's confidence and bring him along slowly.
I dont think Peyton should be #1 on that list. Sure it was a big comeback with 35 points in the second half but that was due to the defense, they had 4 interceptions and held the Chargers to 0 second half points. TWO pick-6s leaving Peyton to only put up 21 points on the board, which took him all game to do. From a vet like him that is not a good game, add in the fact that his competition for first place threw 6 TDs and those rankings should look very different. I would say #3 on the list not 1
Russell Wilson reminds me a lot of Mark Sanchez from his rookie year in 2009. He thrives off a real good running game and smothering defense. Wilson has definitely been impressive though, more so than Sanchez was.
Really? Did you see the game? Brady finished 36 of 58 for 395 yards and touchdown passes of 1 yard to Hernandez and 46 yards to Welker in the first half. No one said Wilson did not deserve to be on the list but Brady was no slouch.....Really!
