I agree with most of them aside from Carolina and Cleveland.

I think Carolina is being underrated. They still have a solid team and every year their division has a new winner.

The Ravens have quarterback troubles and probably won't win more than five or six games imo.

The Steelers play a tough schedule and I believe they won't win more than nine games.

Bengals could be a surprise team but I don't believe they win the division.

Barring erratic plays by Anderson, I think Browns will win that division. One thing that COULD hold up the Browns from winning that division and being a success in the playoffs is their defensive back play. They are lacking corners right now.

Maybe we should have just drafted an immediate starter at NT, 2 at OLB, and 2 for the OL. I'm mean it's not like thats actually hard to do in a single draft right?

i think those 6 were meant for teams that 'have a chance'-- pretty sure he doesn't like our franchise anyway, so probably wouldn't even mention us at all. to be honest though i'm surprised he didn't put in a quip about us, oakland and atlanta not even deserving an explanation or something

and i do think cleveland has a shot, and pittsburgh will be good again

    From the article:

Although he does mention that the Jets are a "long shot" to secure a WC spot. Guy is still a dope though.

So he says that the Steelers will not make the playoffs. Then goes on to say the browns will not make the playoffs. So who does this guy thing will win the AFC North? The Bengals are a mess and the Ravens offense is anemic.

I hate to say this, but there's no way I see us making the playoffs next season. In 2009 watch out!

Way to take a shot at the Jets who have less questions than most AFC teams that weren't in the playoffs last season. Nice. Our only question mark is at Quarterback and the #2 Corner. I cannot wait for this season to start so Kellen Clemens can prove them all wrong. Mark my words he will be named the starting Quarterback sometime in early to mid August and will lead this team to at worst a 9-7 record. Yes I know 9-7 isn't playoff bound, but that is the least of where I think he could take us in 2008.

I agree with it aside from Denver's prediction. I don't think they will be that bad, at least not while Shannahan is running it. Good post.

While I do agree that he is due for a firing, I don't think it will be on that bad of terms. If he goes another season with a losing record, he could be on the outs. I think they will go 7-9 and he could still see the pink slip. I just don't see them being that bad. Cutler will improve and their defense can go nowhere but up imo.

Very hard to be happy about stories like this considering we were supposed to go to the Superbowl with Culpepper.

Yeah they don't do much anymore. Teams used to be afraid to play them, now its nothing it seems. That home game vs the Chargers where they lost by 45 I believe was absolutely piss poor and horrendous. I really think if they continue to dissapoint this year, Shanahan will be on the outs and thats hard to say considering what he has been for that franchise. I wonder if they go after his son who is the OC in Houston I believe now. He seems to be a smart guy. I still think they win eight games tops but my prediction is seven as I stated earlier.

I agree with the Cutler comments. However, I do think they're defense will be improved this year.

Yeah after that SD game, I thought to myself, is it time? Time for him to go?

Lol, some may think your prediction is borderline ridiculous or ludicrous but its possible. Its very possible actually lol. I still think they win seven, maybe one less. I don't wish for anyone to lose a job but I am wishing for Shannahan to lose his job. Its time for him to go and get a fresh start in Mile High city.

Yeah Cutler was my favorite QB coming out that year. I was hoping we would trade down and get him but that went out the window.

The defense is piss poor, thats about the best way to describe it at this point lol. They have to go up at least one in the defensive statistical standings, don't they?

I don't see why everyone is underestimating the Jets so badly. I think they have done an excellent job. I hate them, but I can see that they are going to be good. 9, 10, or 11 wins kinda good. Watch out, all I'm sayin.

That would be very interesting. I think we would finish second in the division behind the Bills. Bills would likely win this division with eight wins imo. We could have a good shot at it though and I think there would be a good chance to win it but in the end, I think its the Bills. This is assuming Lynch wasn't involved in the hit-and-run accident that was reported and he is able to play. If he wasn't playing this season because of that, I think we win the division by a game. Jmo.
