STs wins the game again. That and the fact that we were deadly in the redzone ,scoring passing TDs instead of FGs .That took the heart right out of them.Thereafter they had to change their gameplan and they were not up to the task ,the defense takng everything away fom them.

This is the sound clip I was referring too. This was going into Halftime and Coach Muschamp before this interview was speaking to the refs. While they are not in the video at all were still close to him.

LOL, imagine how ugly that game would have looked if the officials were ... lets just say better.

We TOTALLY shut them down in all phases. While our offense was pretty much shut down too, we did wear them down at the end...

Side note: IF ANYONE else wins coach of the year this year it will be a disgrace. Even the most optimistic of Gator fans, were not thinking 10 regular season wins at the beginning of the year. Now, most think 10 is a given with the two cupcakes and Missouri still on the schedule!!!!!! Great job Coach Muschamp. Great job.

What about KSU's coach? I think an argument could be made he is deserving as well.

They do have an argument. I just think less was expected of Muschamp and he has done it against tougher competition. Plus still has some real tough games left.

Bill Synder is a great coach. Everyone knows how great he is. On the other hand you have Muschamp who is still unproven. I read a article (if anyone wants to see I can get it) which before the Texas A&M called the Gators coaching staff the worst in the SEC. To go from that to be where we are now in the conference we are in is incredible.

I wouldn't mind reading it. That shows you the over reacting that goes on at times. I remember when the Gator Nation was calling for Muschamp's head after the Bowling Green game. That leads me to 2 points. One the Gator Nation was spoiled by Meyer and as a fanbase we can't handle a little adversity anymore. Two I almost hate going to games now because I have to listen to stupid fans in the stadium. Between fans who couldn't figure out why we were running so much against LSU to those who get upset at Driskel when a he gets sacked 3 seconds after receiving the snap, it's enough to make you tear your heart out.

Not trolling, but shouldn't 10+wins a year be the standard at UF given the talent in the area? Should Muschamp get an atta boy for doing what's expected?

Florida had a lot of highly rated guys but they were terrible. Florida went thru some tough time due to a lot of bad players and poor coaching. I feel now that Florida can win without a team full of NFL players. Muschamp has done a great job IMO

    Laces -
I think that that is the thing. We were not expected to win 10 games this year. This team was a mess when Meyer left and most were predicting 8 or maybe 9 wins this season. Plus at best a third place finish in the East. Heck, I think I even remember reading one prediction which had us behind Tennessee.

Like Skeet mentioned early in the season people wrote that this was the worst coaching staff. Now look at what they did.

Hard for me to believe that the Gators are looking to FSU (I know your talking about us but). We are playing a team that disrespects us. A team that our head coach graduated from but said he always wanted to be a Gator. This is one of those games that when you come to Florida you have to win.

A Georgia player has already tweeted about possibly rushing the field for the first TD. If that as a player doesn't make your blood boil I don't know what will. This game will be played with a lot of emotion and energy.

Alright guys lets talk Georgia. How good is Georgia?

Lets talk about there good wins.
    1. Tennessee - this game was looking like a blow out and Vols made a comeback and Georgia escaped 51-44.
    2. Vanderbilt - they beat Vandy up and down the field all night long period. 48-3.
    3. There isn't 3 big wins on there schedule. They have played 2 out of conference games this year and they were against Buffalo and Florida Atlantic. I wanted to know where they are ranked so I went to CBS where they rank every team in college football. Buffalo (119) and FAU (115) out of 124 teams. The Bulldogs have yet to play an SEC west opponent but when they do they will play Auburn and Ole Miss. Those are two teams that are down years and terrible.

    Bad Losses
    1. South Carolina - This is the only game Georgia has played all year that they have lost. This is also the only top 25 team that they have played all year. However they didn't just lose they got absolutely smacked around in a rout. They lost 35-7 with there only TD coming in the final minutes.

What scares me about Georgia is the fact that they have Aaron Murray. Florida has only played two good QB's all year. Tyler Bray and Johnny Manziel the Gators struggled in those games for different reasons. Murray might be better right now then the other two however he doesn't have the Oline that Texas A&M has and he doesn't have the WR's that the Vols have. If the Gators lose it will be because of Murray making the right decisions and making plays for Georgia.

Have you watched film? or just from highlights? Not trying to be rude, just curious if you have a feel for how their conditioning/depth is? Meaning if we keep it close in the first half (seems to always be our game plan) will we tire them out like we did LSU and be able to run down their throats all fourth quarter?

I have only watched parts of games. I watched most of the South Carolina and Tenn. games. Most of Georgia games have been played while Florida is on or another big matchup is. South Carolina and Tenn were both able to run the ball and kind of wear down the Bulldogs defense. The problem with Tenn was they wanted to pass the ball to catch up because time was a factor. Hard to do much when your defense is so bad. If our secondary can slow down Murray I like our chances to wear them down and dominate.

I know losing to Georgia sucks however there is some upside. We will probably no longer play for the SEC title (this obviously is not a good thing or the upside). So at least Georgia or Alabama will drop when they play. We will be the 2nd highest ranked SEC team so we will probably get a BCS game if we best FSU.

This offensive line is still Garbage. It was said that they would be the strength of the team but they are the weakness. Our tackles in general are absolutely terrible.

We had 6 turnovers. 2 within their redzone. You can't win games like that. It's funny but I still think we were the better team things just didn't break out way. We are still considerably better than what I thought we would be and I look forward to seeing how this year impacts our future recruiting. The game was hard to watch regardless though due to the officiating. There was 24 penalties for over 200 yards. I felt like I was watching basketball with all the penalties.

I am SOOOOO TIRED of hearing that. Seems like our coaching staff keeps trying to prop them up with positive thinking. They are horrible. That being said, they did not lose the game for us. They did not help, but it was not their fault. Driskel really had his worst game. Trying to do too much and forcing plays. Also, I really would love to know why none of our wrs (minus Reed) can ever get open. They are all fast guys, but every time I look they have 0 separation. So frustrating.

Most of the optimistic projections ...mine included ..had the Gators going 9-3 .So far they have exceeded those expectations and they will probably go to one of the major bowls.

Someone finally took advantage of this teams weaknesses which were on display for everyone to see .Lack of a passing game ,inexperienced QB ,porous OL ,undisciplined penalties.

Georgias game plan was simple .Stop the run and make Driskell pass .He wasnt up to the task and did not take care of the ball .The OL and the blocking in general did not help.Coach Champ was right about that .

Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with our season. Especially compared to what most of us thought. However, I HATE to lose a game because we screwed up. I am disappointed when a better team beats us, but I just HATE it when we beat ourselves. I think most that watched that game just saw the gators lose the game, NOT the bull dawgs win it.

Is it only me, or has Driskel definitely recessed in his growth? He seems to be locking on his receiver even more than before. Hence all the tipped balls and linebackers being able to break up the pass. Think some of it is probably from the oline protection going to crap, but he really better get better before the FSU game. Or he is going to throw 4 picks against that D. Time to really earn your money, Pease!

True .What is worrisome to me is that defenses have shut him down lately on his bootlegs which is about the only thing he does real well .Either that or the coaches did not see the huge gaps for him to run through against Missouri.

I think the problem is teams are just totally selling out to stop the runs. Meaning corners are one on one out the outside and both safeties are in the box. They know they can sell out for the RB or the QB boot. I know everytime we try a deep pass it gets called back by a hold, but we need to keep taking shots. They are getting completed. Do that a few times to back the safeties out of the box and boom our running game opens up again.

Honestly, a little disappointed in Pease the last two games. He has been great most of the year, but really vanilla and not adapting the last two games.

I was extremely busy and under most circumstances I would have moved, changed, or broke my neck trying to watch. However I thought this game is going to be blow out no need to watch. I checked the score and it was 13-10? in the 3rd. I rushed to a TV and turned it on and it was 17-13 ULL. I watched the rest of game.

My only real thoughts are the Offensive line is absolutely terrible. Garbage. I can't say this enough. It seems like ever player is getting beat all the time. It doesn't help that our WR are trash and our best options in pass plays are TE's. TE's going on pass routes limits the Max protect options as well. This offense needs a lot of work. Can't wait to see if some freshmen can play right away next year.

So the real question is WHY? I thought I remember most/a lot of those guys being pretty highly ranked out of HS. They are almost all upper classmen. What gives? Bad coaching? What happened to the line that did real well against LSU?

Just because a player is highly ranked doesn't mean he will be great or good. Being highly ranked just means that was viewed to be a dominant player in high school that could be in college. People are ranked highly for different reasons from skill, size, speed, technique, instincts, plus more. Urban Meyer recruited a lot of specific guys that were ranked high or just really fast. This offense was soft as **** and that will kill any team in the SEC. Andre Debose is a prime example of a player with a ton of speed who never developed. There are a ton of guys on Florida's team who just couldn't develop for one reason or another.

I doubt it's bad coaching for the offensive line as they have had some good coaches. I just think they are mostly players who didn't become the players they were ranked to be. Football is one of the hardest sports to predict how good a player will be when they jump up a level.

The LSU team was tired. LSU on offense couldn't do anything and no defense can hold up forever. It looked like depth caught up to them and they got tired.

The Gators need a repeat of the LSU game to beat FSU.Stay close until the second half ,score at least 17 points and wear them down physically .
The turnover battle will be decisive IMO.

Our entire offensive line will be healthy for the first time since the LSU game. That is a good sign. Honestly tho FSU line isn't better than LSU's but its very good. There strength is stopping the run so its going to be interesting. Turnovers will be huge I agree.

No one is picking Florida to win this game. That has a lot to do with our offense being so terrible and I don't blame them. However I was reading some quotes the other day from Brent Pease and he was saying that he didn't wanna show much vs our last two opponents. I have a feeling that he will have a special set of plays that we have not seen. Nothing to hold back from FSU. This game could determine if we go to the Title game.

That ****ing playoff can't get here soon enough. I think Florida has some glaring holes but they beat South Carolina, LSU, Texas A&M, and The team out west. The only ****ing loss came to the #3 team in the country in a close game.
