Place Sunlife Stadium Time 1pm Pill, the usual place Line: Seattle -3 o/u 38 pts Storyline: Miami is on a 3 game losing streak, the Seahawks are on a 2 game winning streak but are 1-4 on the road. Battle of Rookie Qb's: Russel Wilson vs Ryan Tannehill, so far Wilson has outplayed Tannehill and it is not close. Ex CFL stars Cam Wake and Thigpen vs Brandon Browner, in a game that mocks the usual NFL GM's approach to talent acquisition, 2 have made pro bowls and Thigpen could easily make the squad this year. Injuries: No new injuries to report, Fasano has a bad hip, Lynch has a bad back Turning point game, if the Dolphins cannot win this one playoffs are pretty much out of the question, if they win the playoffs could still be out of the question only now we have a worse draft slot.
Im hoping to see Egnew out there. It bothers me that the guy still cant find the field yet. Im guessing he is strruggling to learn the playbook but hopefully by week 12 he has learned it enough to be in a huddle or two today. If not you have to start to question if he is just a bust of a pick.
I think the matchup to watch is Reggie vs Seattle's defensive front. Instinctively, a guy slumping going into the grinder is not a good thing....but I feel like Reggie could bust out and get back on track today. I guess it's more of a hope than a feeling. If he has a good game, I think we win it. If not, it doesn't look good. Browner/Sherman/Trufant are going to make our wideouts assume the fetal position and cry in the shower post-game.
Miller and Egnew inactive again? Wow. Just wow.. Just put these guys on the field... see what we've got in them...
What's up home slices.. I really care about getting a good look at our rookies, we have a big offseason coming up, and were going to need to know if Egnew and Miller can play..to many good players in the draft at their positions, I guess if they lose this game, then they'll start going there, it's all in in this game.
Ahhh, this time of year again. No, not the holidays. The time of year where we no longer get so angry watching Dolphins games because we've accepted the fact the season is over and there's nothing left but development and draft position. At least it came after the World Series was over this year.
I think we're going to see a few picks from Tannehill today. This Seattle defense is good. Really good in the secondary.
Some in the Dolphins front office would like to see the coaches play seam-stretching third-round rookie tight end Michael Egnew, but offensive coordinator Mike Sherman suggested that’s not going to happen anytime soon. “I make a lot of good plays in practice but mess one up now and then,” Egnew said. “They want me to be more consistent. I believe Jeff Ireland still has faith in me.” Read more here: http://miamiherald.typepad.com/sports-buzz/#storylink=cpy
We've already gotten more information on our team, and its players in todays broadcast, than we've probably gotten in the entire season worth of games on CBS so far. Wow, look at all the people there wearing orange today in the lower level!! Oh.. wait...
