Wait, why you mad bruh? Youre a Thunder fan. Every Knick fan wanted OKC to win last year. So it sounds personal ya punk :(

I was rooting for Lebron to evolve into a man...and he finally did. Oddly enough I felt like a proud dad.

Of course I pinned it on my team's lack of interest in the game. It's the truth.

Difference between being "happy" and "ridiculous". I am not making a statement of anybody in particular. I am making an observation of the fan base as a whole. Knicks fans are Jets fans. Delusional, and clownish.

You see....Laker fans are arrogant and obnoxious. They earned it. That's how it works.

    The above is an example.

Teams that win ONE playoff game in 10 years don't have "Haters".

Thats your opinion and its not a rational one or one without contradiction.

Jet fans typically are not Knick fans by the way. See the way NY sports teams typically break down is by borough. Queens and Long Island are typically Jets-Nets-Mets-Islanders because all those teams were originally Queens or Long Island based and in close proximity stadium wise. Bronx and NYC are typically Knicks-Rangers-Giants-Yankees. Brooklyn is typically divided with more towards the later though Brooklyn is going through some reconstruction now and getting a lot of Long Islanders there meaning more Jet-Mets-Nets-Islander fans there. So your original statement that Jet fans are typically Net fans is entirely incorrect. Its actually quite the opposite even though the Nets havent been based on LI for a long time its held true.

Nah, Bulls fans, Heat fans, Nets, fans, Celtic fans, Philly fans, and Pacer fans NEVER hated New York. The Knicks get as much irrational hate as any team since they havent been good in 10 years.

    Of course it is.

    Agree to disagree.

BTW, I thought the Lakers weren't gonna win the West...but I did think they could lose in the WCF's....

They can't look any worse. I think Howard is injured.

Supposed Howard and Kobe were at it prior to a game a this past week. Kobe was riding Howard for not playing hard all the time. Howard took exception and they were screaming at each other for quite a while supposedly. Howards not hurt, hes just playing soft. That team is done though as long as D'Antoni is coach. He cant possibly handle those two and get Gasol in the flow of the offense and get the team to gel. Nash is the only chance they have. Hes the ultimate team unifier. Kobe gets as many shots as he wants. Howards gets open dunks. Gasol gets open looks and all of a sudden will like a stretch 4 that D'Antoni wants. Pringles will mess it up though. Pringles hire ensured LAL will not come out of the West. Thunder/Grizzlies/Spurs in that order....

Heat played a pretty good game yesterday.

When I was making my Atlanta case, I forgot to mention that they are the only team to beat Memphis, OKC, and the Clips in a row. Any team can win a game. Good teams can do THAT.

Lebron did that to himself. Thats a fact. When your proclaim yourself winners of the next 6 or 7 NBA Championships and a dynasty in the making before you ever set foot on a court together you get the heat that comes with drawing the spotlight to yourself. Doesnt matter what city you represent, thats just a fact. Far as Im concerned he got what he deserved along with Wade and Bosh.

And if you read the statement I made I said the Knicks hadnt been good in 10 years so why are they getting hate? Makes no sense.

I think every teams fanbase has some of those types. I would say the Knicks get more then their share. I dont know anyone who has a neutral opinion on the Knicks....you either like them or you dont. I would probably say the same about Miami but I would argue that much of it was self inflicted because of the Lebron/ESPN documentary. Prior to that I dont think many non-knick fans cared one way or the other about the Heat.

Does anyone remember the rationale for blocking the Chris Paul trade to the Lakers last year? I was watching the absolutely miserable Hornets with a buddy and neither of us could remember why it was blocked.

I thought they were going to get Odom, Scola, Martin and some other decent players from that trade too.

45 for Melo on 15/24 shooting. Pretty good. Kidd drops his 6th 3 to win the game. Thats how you come back from 17 down.

Apparently, everyone was crying foul 'cause LA to have CP3, Kobe, and Pau Gasol on one team, ignoring the fact that The Hornets was going to get better because of it.

Yeah, as a Heat fan, I thought it was prick move on the NBA's part, IMO.

I think it had to do with the Lakers shedding a lot of payroll, and the Hornets taking on so much money...

Glad to see someone other than Melo, turn it on. If the Knicks are a 1-2 seed and Melo stays healthy...he has a very good shot at MVP.

    Interesting game tonight.....

The Knicks don't have the type of offense to exploit the Laker's defense, but they do have the guy who plays D12 the best besides Perkins.

Hard game to figure out, but if the chuck and pray offense hits again, Knicks by 20.

Uhm, Howard IS injured. It has been pretty well documented. Probably the worst thing he could have done was come back early from his back surgery, but he wanted to prove something and now he is contributing to this horrid Lakers run. Nash being out really cripples this team. They are divided, splintered and outside of Antawn Jamison, no one is working hard except Kobe. In all fairness, Kobe is having one of his better seasons ever, but the team is terrible and it is being overlooked.

Oh well, it is still early enough and I still have confidence that they can right the ship. For D'Antoni's sake, he better. Magic Johnson might just flip the **** out of they don't.

NY has the greatest scorer in the NBA, and eventual MVP in Melo...

If you know basketball as much as you think you may be able to see beyond the hate and realize they shoot a lot of 3's because they have great ball movement and normally find the open guy.

That's great basketball rather you Heat whiners like it or not.

if you know basketball like you think you do, you realize that chuck and pray while getting smashed on the boards every night, and having a soft defensive rating is a recipe for disaster.

The Wolves, have a great def Eff. number and their Reb Rate number is great as well. They are the clear cut best rating team in the league so far.

They rate like a 55 win team indexed vs. the last 15 years.

    So far of course.
