    I agree Deej. Some thoughts:

    1) yeah, I like how he acknowledges our tradition and needing to win at home
    2) Do our guys (like soliai, obviously, but even Brandon Fields) look kinda soft to you? the look like they are not in peak condition, but kinda half *** workout guys. Maybe I'm wrong, or it's just because I saw the Punter and a fat NT, but I sometimes worry that late in a season with no real playoff hopes, some giuys are NOT focused on maintaining the BEST shape possible. They eat so-so, and train half-***. Hope that's not the cae. Dansby always kinda looked that way to me too. Smooth muscle, carrying a bit of bloat. Not conditioned. That was last year. I haven;t see much of him this year. I have a clue what I'm talking about when it comes to judging physicques because I spent several years at a company that sold hardocre bodybuilding and fitness physique competitor products and nutrition. All we talked about for years was the science and art of body appearance, performance, muscle building, etc. Hell, the joke there was that guys wanted 'shredded glutes'. lol So I dunno, when I see soft, smooth unconditioned muscle, it tells me they usually are NOT strict in their diet.
    3) I like Philbin. (but Joe, try not to look down at your cue card when presenting to the class. you lose marks.)

Soft, unconditioned, not properly educated on nutrition, laziness, lack of a scientific approach to the body is an epidemic in the league.it happens way more than it should relative to what these guys do for a living and how much the get paid..

Any pro athlete who isn't in peak condition should be fined, any franchise that does'nt supersede the importance of training year round is dumb, any player that doesn't do it, not only hurts their own wallet, but is ripping off their employer and the fans.

Don't know about you, but if I have the goods to be a pro athlete, I understand how the body has to function for the potential to be reached, anything less, is just that, less of a player..

Solai needs to get better, there's no excuse for that, when you can't see your Sausage as a pro athlete, it's a problem.

Fields and carpenter must train at chuckie cheese on the jungle gym together..their both out of shape.

Dansby has realized late, but he's much improved..when he first came to us I talked about how I felt that was one aspect of his profession that he wasn't taking serious, way too smooth, a few years later he's admitted as such.

I could go on and on about this topic, but bottom line, I see it all the time, I project it all the time good or bad,and most of the time, I'm right..

In a game of inches..every unnecessary lb of fat, every muscle not developed properly, is only making it that much more difficult to make the play..

Remember when I called Ronnie brown fat that one year in camp...Folks thought I was ridiculous...Sure I was.

Oh, and Tannehill needs to step up this offseason..

I have no problem if my big NT has a little extra poundage around the middle. all about how athletic he is underneath...see Vince Wilfork.

off topic, but it's interesting that we could end up with (a couple of big games needed) a 1000 yd back in Bush, 1000 yard receiver in Hartline, 1000 yard receiver in Bess (needs 2 100+ yard games) and a 3500 yard passer with Tannehill (in 15 games). with all our complaints, that's not bad for a team that's rebuilding.

This ^ is the worst job of panicking ever.

Try it again with less rational thought and a little more "caught your wife with your best friend and when you called your dog to bite him, your dog was all like, Nah, I actually like Billy better too" rage. Also more damning of Ireland and sprinkle in some insinuation that Tannehill is not the answer.

Everyone can have their version, it won't be as pretty as the Krackens, but each individual athletes body has its own optimum level that can be reached thru commitment, effort, and the intelligence to know what that means to their performance..

If you don't think I could turn Paul Solai into an even better player than he is, I would bet money that I could..he would just have to committ..if they ain't doing right, they only doing themselves wrong.

A win against the Bills, and Miami is 5-3 at home. After Tony Sparano's struggles to win home games, that's a welcome change.

A good physique does not always mean a good football player.Linemen need to be a bit beefy, and I'm not to concerned about the punter.
Remember David Boston? He looked the part but that was about it.Look at the Patriots Vince Wolfork,he is a tub of goo but he is a baller.
