I wish it showed the Thigpen incompletion. That was a great read by Tannehill.

Notice the beautiful play designs and calls on his two TD passes, and nobody has said a word about them.

Play-calling is mentioned only when it's being scapegoated.

Both plays had two people wide open.

First play also had Marlon Moore wide open.

Second play Mustred(sp?) was also wide open

    Thoughts on tannehill? I'm happy.

Dudes gutsy, smart, and athletic. He's got the arm, the size, and talent.

    Let's get him some playmakers.

Fasano was a very good thing for rock slinging last week but he catches them.

Ryan Tannehill is the most accurate Qb in the league on throws over 21 yards..

Not bad for a dude who was Catchin passes 3 years ago.

Especially when playing on a team without any players who can get 21 yards down the field.

why is it that on big plays that our receivers always fall down after making the catch? Watch that long throw to fasano over the middle. He hops in the air for no reason and falls down when nobody is within 10 yards of him.

What fun is it for them to catch it in stride and run 20-30 yards for a TD?!?!

I was watching this game with several people, none of them Dolphins fans. They all laughed when that happened and one remarked "No wonder your rookie QB only has 8 TD's"

That throw is very behind Fasano. He jumps backwards to be able to make the catch. It was actually a really good play by Fasano to catch that pass.

Ehhhhhh, Watch it again. Fasano had no intention of running after he made that catch. He even laughs afterwards, like he thought a defender was closer to him.

    I did watch it again.

Fasano is running towards the sidelines and the ball was thrown at a point where he had to stop running to make the catch

So then you saw him fall down unnecessarily and not attempt to run after the catch, right?

I saw him run towards the sidelines and catch a ball that was behind him that caused him to necessarily jump.

He could have gotten back up and got a few yards.

If we are talking about the same play, he wasn't near the sidelines. Also, he hopped...not jumped...and he didnt even need to. Despite the fact that he hopped, he landed on both of his feet and proceeded to get down like he was going to be hit; nobody was even close to him.

What Dupree is decribing actually sounds more like the Hartline play, where Tannehill hit him on the sideline and it was a bit underthrown. Hartline was actually backpedaling as he caught it, then fell down and got up for a couple extra yards. On that particular play though, Tannehill threw it pretty much the only place he could, given where the safety was.

He wasn't near the sidelines, he was running toward the sideline. From the direction of the play he was running right.

Those were nice calls. All (or virtually all) of the nice calls we have had on passing plays in the redzone have been on plays to the TE or FB, which is fine, but I think is a reason why our WR TD numbers are low. I don't care who's catching them as long as they get caught.

Interestingly, the Dolphins have a very good redzone TD percentage at home (62.5%) and a very poor one on the road (44.4%).

How does 12 for 40 (30%) equate to most accurate?

PFF has him at 8th with an Accuracy % of 43.5. It factors in drops.

    sorry Adam..

"However he failed to read his own companies stats page correctly. Tannehill was acually the best on passes over 31 yards not 21.
But the sampling was like 5 of 6 passes. That is called selective stats to suit your need.

In passes over 21 yards Tannehill is 12 for 40 for 460 yards and 3 TD's and 1 Int

By comparison Aaron Rodgers is 18 for 46 for 578 yards with 10 Td and 2 Ints.

    12/40 (30%) is notmore accurate than 18/46 (39%)

"This was all James walker mis-information. Don't get me wrong I love RT17 but I hate innacurate statements about stats."
