I cringed when I found out about myself.

Belicheat always says that was the best trade he's ever made.

    You were saying?

What is really funny to me is if you watch the pats play, you will see Welker get open behind the secondary, catch the ball, and caught from behind.

I'm not comparing them skill wise, just circumstance wise. But of course some here didn't get that.

But he could hurt us as Padre has said. Leaving us, going to NE and then Jeff Ireland still believing that his 4s, 5s, and 6s will step up and replace Hartline. I can see it coming plain as day.

.... and I've also seen Welker NOT get caught from behind and routinely not fall down upon slightest contact or no contact at all, and I've seen him make plays with the ball in his hands, and I've seen him be a better bad ball receiver and display better tracking ability than Hartline.

Hey Pods, Welker is good enough to get franchised at $9.5M. Let's see if that happens with Hartline who will be lucky to make that over 2 seasons.

    -or-

Put Hartline with a far more accurate Qb with more offensive talent in the system.

I've seen Hartline make great catches on poorly thrown balls the last 2 years, what happens when the ball hits him properly, in stride, heading downhill, above the hips and below the shoulder pads.

I was more meaning that losing Hartline to NE was the same as what happened with Welker, but they do have somewhat similar styles, just Hartline is a bit taller and I think a smidge faster.

Going to be a fun offseason, could see Bline going to the rams as well, but suspect the Pats will make a run at him.

I think Welker is quicker, thing Hartline has more of a top end and works the sidelines better.

In no way shape or form do they have similar styles. It's mind boggling that you would say that.

well we will have to agree to disagree about that.

I still stand by the fact that if Hartline is lost to NE in free agency, he will become the next nightmare the Dolphins have to worry about when they play NE. I've seen it happen one to many times to not see it when it is coming.

Sorry Hartline we can pass on you. I don't blame you though for wanting more money.

Our team won't be doing any passing unless they replace him adaquately. Do you trust "you know who" to do that ?

Bline has 1 touchdown, 1. See ya if you don't take the deal.

This is make or break for Ireland. I like to think Philbin has some input on what is going to happen in FA and through the draft if not then were just ****ing Tannehill's development.

You better hope he has a lot more imput than last off-season, because it was evident that Ireland sure doesn't care. We all saw him in Hard Knocks, and his comments to Peter King, and his in-action during free agency with regards to a WR - his answer to losing Marshall was Ochocinco, and when that didn't pan out, he had ZERO backup plan, unless you think Armstrong was that backup plan, in which case you need your head examined.
