He was just blabbing initially as a negotiation ploy with Baltimore. zero interest in what will be a very highly paid, older, getting more-injury prone safety, even if he is a 1st ballot HOF.
Would love to see him in Miami if he still has any gas left in his tank and if he can be signed for fair money. I think his level of play would benefit the whole team. I am doubtful that Ireland can get it done though.
Im not saying he could not get him here. I am saying that it will be very diffucult to get him here on a good deal. I am of the opinion that whoever gets him will overpay for him and Ireland does not impress me as being someone who can convince a player that they would be better off taking a lil less to play in Miami. Its not his forte.
