I saw this guy listed as having 17 sacks ion 2011 so I wanted to check him out- almost no film on youtube. But there's a bit here starting at the beginning of the clip:

6'6-235, similar size to Anthony Barr and Dion Jordan. Anyone know about this guy? He looks like he has some explosion to him to go along with the production, but I need to see more film, can't find it.

Ok- kicked out of Baylor for weed possession, with Josh Gordon. WR moved to TE moved to DE- reminds me of Dion Jordan and Anthony Barr. 38" vertical, 10'5" broad jump.

That's such poor competition. I think you'd find better athletes at the intramural leagues at some of the bigger universities

Well, I'm not as quick to write off a guy who is 6-6 235 and had 17 sacks last year. I doubt that many of the intramural guys are that size, run a sub 4.7 40 and have a 38" vertical and 10' 5' broad jump. The guy played at Baylor, got busted with weed and went to a smaller school- same thing with Da'Rick Rogers going from UT to TT, I'm not going to eliminate him from consideration because he went to less of a football school.

I meant that comment with regard to his competition, not the guy himself. My apologies.

I guess that's the case with small school players, you always have to worry about the level of competition. I know next to nothing about this guy, I thought that he might warrant a further look based on his production, size and speed. He was a good enough athlete to play WR for Baylor, maybe he'll get grafted late, who knows.

Curious whether Baylor moved him from WR to TE to DE, or if DE was a small school decision? Maybe an indicator he wasn't seen as capable of being a DE against strong competition but at the lower level he could overwhelm them with measurables.

I generally like guys who's play has got them moving up a level... Like JUCO to SEC. I'm concerned no Major college saw enough talent in him to give him a second chance.

All that said, this is also how you find acorns. If he goes undrafted why not bring him to camp, depending on if his behavior has improved.
