Well, don't want to jinx it for tomorrow, but it looks like he's coming to Miami. So a highlight video of Wallace and a poll question:
3 years from now, who will have had more impact on the team: Mike Wallace or Brandon Marshall?

Even though he's not the perfect fit for the offense, he's still a better fit than Marshall would have been. Marshall was good-not-great for us. The combination of Wallace and Tannehill certainly has potential to be way better than Henne-Marshall or even Moore-Marshall

hard to say how wallace turns out tannehill didn't show the best deep ball last season but he was a rookie so I dunno. Marshall is in a offense that goes through him with a qb he likes so for now I'll say Marshall looks to have the better spot Not sure if Marshall will do better than 1500 yards and 11 tds though that is a pretty damn good year.

edit Read the question wrong you mean on the dolphins who would do better I'll still take Marshall in the west coast over Wallace.

What scares me about him is that I saw him break two tackles and make one defender miss in a four and a half minute video.

There were many highlights where he caught the ball with defenders in front of him and was then tackled by the first defender. You'd think that there would have been a few more broken tackles on a highlight reel.

I'd rather have Wallace and two 3rds than Marshall.

Well, at this point it's pretty much Wallace and this years 3rd. :pity:

A legitimate argument that Marshall actually had a negative impact on Miami. The PPG and W-L records dropped or remained relatively the same. Same effect on the Bears this year. Making one WR the primary target in which a lopsided amount of targets go to him is just not a proven formula for success.

So I will say Wallace as long as he isn't targeted 175-200 times during the year.

Marshall's talent is going up and getting the ball away from the defender which he did plenty of times, especially with Matt Moore chucking the ball up for grabs. But it's still unfathomable to me that he didn't seem to be able to do it in the endzone, which should have been his strength.

Both players are poor fits for the offense for different reasons. Marshall is a poor fit because he will never accept a role where he isn't always the top target for the team. No matter how much success the team has, Marshall is only happy when he is getting what he wants. He's the most selfish player in the NFL

Wallace is a poor fit because he's limited in what he can do on the field due to his lack of top flight quickness and his poor route running.

Quite a few contested catches there. I see a nice complement to Hartline and see open space for Bess to run underneath him

Lil Random thing about Mike Wallace if he becomes a dolphin...he's duck footed..quite interesting to me considering most of the better elite athletes are not.

His feet go outward about 20 to 30 degrees, there's many crazy theories as to why, nothing really supports that their at a disadvantage athletically, but some say it can be corrected to a degree with specific strength training.

might be his bone structure is a little off. My left foot does the same thing. too much bone in my ankle on one side causes it.

He is less duck footed the faster he runs...when he breaks down to cut you see it more pronounced.

Researching it a little it seems as though it can lead to premature knee wear....didn't not know that. I'm duck footed myself I noticed it more when I played on the line in my pee wee days if I lost the leverage war my feet would splay all the way out.

I'm not complaining. I'd love to have a Wallace type receiver on this team. Paying him like an elite receiver is ridiculous and a poor use of resources. People act like it's our one and only need and we can blow our load getting receivers and ignore everything else.

We have no corners, no tight ends, no right tackle, are VERY thin at running back and could use a new free safety.

In two years, Marshall will have worn out his welcome in Chitown and he'll ride off to some other team to screw with them...

That doesn't mean that I think Wallace will magically become Jerry Rice, Part Deux but he's much less of a headache than Marshall could ever be...
