How much money did Tom Brady give back to the team. I know Kraft is the owner but that's a rude comment to make directed at your star QB giving up his money and his best years.

    Well away from here
Maybe not, but he's the reason you've got hardware and have been basking in the "Model Franchise" limelight for a while. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. You are not entitled to it sunshine, and guess what, very soon you'll truly understand.

Hey Bob you might not want to force that retirement earlier then expect bro...

He could have said everything he wanted to say without the "I don't answer to Tom Brady" thrown in. He had to flex that muscle. I doubt it will end up meaning much, but I'm sure Tom took note.

It was like the same thing when the Yankees douched Jeter in his recent contract negotiations....

    they take note....

  9. If you believe Welker that was part of the reason he went to Denver, allthough Welker does seem to like to talk trash about his former team, while on his way out the door, as we all know.

Bill Belichick tells Brady he sucks every week. I don't see how this is any different, honestly. As long as they have Belichick, they'll be a contender regardless of who is quarterbacking.

TBH I don't think we'll ever see Belichick prove or disprove that theory.

Except he did an incredible job the year he had Cassel, despite not winning the div.

Highly disagree with this. I don't even think Bill is half the coach he is made out to be. Come on...he suddenly became a genius when he stumbled into Tom Brady via injury. Not to say he isn't a "very good" coach but you're telling me they are a SB contender with....Pat White or Matt Leinart at QB?

he's adapted the team at every stage and redefined the nfl. Sure Brady helps, but brady will be someone who played the game, bb will be someone who redefined it.

“I don’t answer to Tom Brady,”

No one wins with Pat White or Matt Leinart. What kind of question is that?

He said "any" QB. Im trying to set parameters for this conversation so it can advance. That is what type of question...

If he means any superstar QB sure...if he means any average QB then I highly disagree.

“I don’t answer to Tom Brady,”

I don't think he meant literally any QB. Those two are impossible to win with.

And he won 11 games with Matt Cassell. He can win with that type of QB.

No. That tells me you paid no attention to what he did in Cleveland.

Right, but Matt Cassell had a juggernaut offense built for Tom Brady around him. Unless you draft extremely well (Patriots don't tend to despite the mystique around them and ridiculous amount of picks) you aren't going to build that type of team around a Matt Cassell generally speaking.

I'm not saying he's a bad coach...but I honestly don't think he deserves the praise he tends to get from fans who want to kiss his behind. For instance I'd gladly take either of the Superbowl coaches over BB and possibly a handful more from playoff teams. Every coach is a genius when his QB is playing lights out. Even Tony Sparano looked smart when Pennington was on top of his game. I'm pretty sure with Marino he probably makes it into the HOF.

All that aside, Matt Cassell isn't a bad QB when you have a great offense around him. He just can't elevate a team the way a franchise QB can. He reminds me a lot of Matt Moore in that sense.

who built that offense? Unless you think that was all GM, in which case you're fooling yourself.

“I don’t answer to Tom Brady,”

Somebody help put that juggernaut offense around Tom Brady and Matt Cassell to help them succeed. BB had a hand in that.

And lately their drafts have been better.

See if I was Tom I would say something like
"With all due respect to Mr Kraft, I dont answer to him either."
