http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...-miami-dolphins-primed-for-big-offensive-year This is a pretty good read.
yeah we discussed it already at the mini camp day 3 thread, but i agree this nugget deserves its own thread...shocked about the words used in relation to our team... stardom, explosive playmakers, NFL's best kept secret...love it
wow, talk about feeding the hype...... So funny that only a few months ago everyone was jumping on the pile..... taking a swing at this team's owner and GM any chance they could. All of a Sudden they're trying to beat the next guy to the bandwagon. Im just glad the crying about the moves that put us in this position is over, and now the skeptics can appreciate the process.
paper or not, before this offseason started, all the media sh&$ on us, all of them..everyone was making fun of us from what they saw in hard knocks, taking shots at our new coach, degrading ireland, it was really fu&$ed up man, because noone used any type of context for our youth, the failures of that POS Parcells, and our first year head coach.. Fu&$ them all..I hope it's our defense that shocks the world..
I love July 20th as much as any day of the year..first day of camp means first day of football season..
I try not to get too into the over hype or over negativity of the media. I have enough on my hands managing my own roller coaster of expectations for this team. We could go anywhere from disappointing at 7-9 or even 8-8 to winning the division.
Amazing the number of national articles praising Tannehill. The hype is there - the number of INTs in mini-camps so far have me a bit worried. Has the overall impression been good or bad on his performance so far?
Listening to everyones interview I think it's way high..I think he's been gunslinging it and taking chances...have heard about a lot of deflections at the line.
**** the national media. It seriously took them till now to realize Tanne was ballin his *** off? The were too busy drooling over Luck, RG3, Wilson, CKap, whoever else. I hope they keep drooling over them and leave our boy alone. I want there to be as little warning as possible. BTW, don't waste your energies getting caught up in mini camp INTs. Its about installing the offense, getting familiar with the receivers, getting into football shape, etc. Who caught this or intercepted that is totally irrelevant at this point.
I'm expecting big things from the O this year. The thing I'm liking though is how little attention anyone is paying to the D so far, because I think they are gonna be right there with the O, and strengthening each other in practice. I betcha Coyle is going to be trying to figure out ways to put DJ and Vernon on the field at the same time by the time TC is over! Brent Grimes gets me excited too. I'm openly optimistic that as long as the team isn't hit with the injury bug, the Dolphins will be right there with the best in the league.
Good read. As if I wasn't ALREADY pumped to get TC underway. We have some pretty darned good talent on both sides of the ball, which hasn't happened in this magnitude in a number of years. We're in for some good, exciting times!
