Certainly not something you like to see but I feel like it is worth mentioning as it affects us. I'm still annoyed we have Misi instead of him especially when there are great Gronk songs like this....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUFNxiE7gZU
I love to see it....he's not doing anything particularly good for the world. He plays football and parties and for a rival team none the less.
Wow, this was his issue in college, not sure about the specifics but it's not good for him, not good for them, and very good for us.
With or without Rob Gronkowski, will Patriots rule in 2013? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...atriots-rule-in-2013?icampaign=ATL_newsdriver Heath Evans:
The Patriots are still the team to beat in the AFCE but all good things eventually come to an end.Brady can't play forever and the the end will come in a couple years ,max.
Surprised no thread on the Gronk I was surprised that there wasn't already a thread on this. Gronk is scheduled for a 4th arm surgery and depending on status of infection possibly a 5th surgery. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-s...ki-fourth-surgery-forearm-next-140636105.html And he could possibly require back surgery? http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...-gronkowski-back-surgery-new-england/2206369/ And he has $18 million of his contract guaranteed even against injury? Not a genius contract by the Patriots.
It's in the general NFL forum but I do think it's very dolphin relevant. Now that the back is a concern as well and he is getting another surgery, if he doesn't play this year, it's a big deal for us, means no Welker no Gronk, huge part of their offense..however Brady can make chicken salad out of you know what.
Was a thread already in here about Gronk they moved it to the correct place. I been saying Gronk won't be a big factor this year at least a good one for New England and I'll say it again. Gronk isn't worth his pay this year there same statement.
He's flying in from Vegas for his surgery..lol...dude is prolly gonna have alcohol in his system when he goes under the knife.
wasn't it already a chronic back problem? I remember hearing he had bulging disk issues in college and he ended up missing a season because of it? I really think it's all downhill from here for Gronk. He may come in and show flashed occasionally, but he has serious health problems which probably are exascerbated by his lifestyle. He already got his big contract extension. I predict in a couple of years, he'll be the next Kellen Winslow Jr w.r.t. productivity relative to pay.
If they were prepared for it I'm not sure they should of got rid of Welker, and who's gonna play tight end with Hernandez? Didnt draft a tight end..hmmm, man this is bad news for them.
Welker took a pop shot at the Pats recently and I love it.....he was asked about the possibility of his streak of catching over a 100 balls being snapped..... he said something to the effect of how talented their receiving corp is (Denver's) and if he has to catch over 100 balls this year it means they are in big trouble..... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing!!!
No kidding, and lets not forget, Welker is gone now too. Without Gronk (if that's the case) and Welker, I'm not sure how afraid I really am of that offense.
They have Ballard as a backup, who is not explosive, also am not sure Ridley will ever be the same after Ellerbe knocked him out..
Now here is some BS, Schefter was saying "they expect a 12 week recovery time which puts his return 2 days after the patriots first regular season game vs the Bills" For pete's sakes, gosh there Schefter, ya think "12 weeks" is set into stone? Nah, gotta stroke the drama..does he realize how absurd he can be?
Brady is planning on pretending hurt this year so Tebow can take the fall for a crappy season, all the cards are set up to keep his stats on a pedestal until they rebuild a bit.
He won't be ready to play tight end in the NFL after not taking a single snap of any sort. No Welker, Gronk won't be full blast until week 6 and the other guy is either getting cut or going to prison. Their offense is going to be a mess. No weapons. Brady is going to get his *** kicked for 6 weeks.
