    He should work on being a NFL TE first, than maybe follow in the steps of Keller before bringing names like Gonzalez into the picture.

    Glad to see him work hard. He has good size (6'5, 262) and looks in good shape.

    But, Gates also was an athletic freak. Apparently ran a 4.6 or less and had a high 30's (some reported 39) vert. Plus he has glue hands. Sims ran a 4.75 or so at the Combine. We'll see if he can flash the quickness and hands that Gates does - I doubt he'll come close.

    I do think he can be better than Fasano - but a player can work really hard and make himself that much better; nevertheless, if you have certain athletic limitations there is going to be a lower ceiling.

    I don't understand why anybody would criticize a player for wanting to be the best at his position.

    There seems to be quite a bit of Dion Sims playing with either starters or mixed 1's and 2's in that video.
