We are finally here! Its Training Camp Eve! Tomorrow morning... Miami Dolphins football is officially back!!!

So with us on doorstep of training camp... what are some of the things you guys are most anxious to see/learn during training camp this year? What players are you most interested in seeing/hearing about? What position battles are you most intrigued with?

I'm personally interested in seeing how our rookie CBs will look. With all the other headlines this offseason, I feel like that aspect has got a little lost in the shuffle. I think at least one of them is going to have to step up this year for us...

People talking about actual football, and not what hats guys are wearing. And our 2nd year players making progress.

    1) How Ryan Tannehill looks with the new receiving corps.
    2) How Jonathan Martin looks, and the OL in general.
    3) Which of the young CBs steps up into a key role. I really like Jamar Taylor.
    4) How the D-line rotation looks; though we probably won't have a better grasp on this until the preseason games.
    5) The TE position after Dustin Keller.

I want to see a couple of things.

First, the mood Philbin has created in his second year. By now I feel like an abused ex-girlfriend. I don't trust the "excitement" players are talking about. But Philbin seems to be taking everything in stride. He truly has a football mastermind awe to him. Like a mad scientist, or something. I love the importance he gives to the FB position, for example.

Runningbacks is huge on my list. How is our backfield going to perform? Lamar Miller has potential, sure.....but I can't lie, I'm a bit worried.

The competition in our secondary is very interesting. Clemons has all the ability in the world, but Jones has big play potential.
All young/new guys out to prove themselves at CB, but again....it's concerning.

    Tannehill, our new pass catchers......

I hear great things about the coaching staff from sports betting insiders. Are they right? I think so. It's exciting, but I've said that before......

A bit random, but I'm really interested in how Will Davis performs. While the pick wasn't widely praised, I was intrigued by his ball skills and fluidity and I'm curious how that will translate. Don't remember hearing anything about him through OTAs, so I'm not sure.

I just wanna get that first preseason game on rewind so I can look at Jon Martin in isolation, just so I can get some peace.

I wanna watch this kid Rishard Matthews play ball, Rafs and CK were very high on him comin out, I slept on the pick, I've gone back because of some flashes last year to find out this dude has good character, works his *** off in the offseason, is abnormally strong for a wide receiver, and hardly ever gets tackled cleanly by the first guy..he's a freakin bull this dude.

I wanna see if Misi keeps improving his game..ya know a lot of folks rag on him in coverage, I think he's gotten better and better in that dept, I expect a couple of picks this year maybe even one for 6.

Ryan's continued development, wanna see relaxed feet, wanna see him see the deep ball target and wait that last fraction to release it, wanna see a faster transition into escaping the pocket when he senses danger, and want to see how him working with chad Pennington on leadership this summer pays off on the field..just be a little loco man.

I've got this feeling from watching Jamar Taylor games/post interviews that he's a bad *** on and off the field, and everyone knows it.

Wanna see if a player can really change his ways in will Davis, no way he can get away with how he payed the run in college in the pros, we just got rid of a corner that sucked against the run, need to see a 180 from this dude, and he needs to stay focused throughout the game, no more playing up or down to your competition, he's got a lot of cover talent.

Of course study every one of this years draft picks..

Wanna see real bad how Dion Sims moves off the LOS, I know his weight is off, his body looks the part, i'm interested to get a measure on how much him coming off the LOS like a slower Anthony Fasano was due to 25 lbs of junk..

Dion Jordan, Kracken, Vern, study these dudes bodies, Just awesome physical specimens..tellin you right now, Jordan does not have Mingos body, it's different, his strength is gonna surprise a lot of people...Vern has already grown into his man body and he's 21... Like super strong football player..would like to see Wake and those two dudes attached to his hip all camp..

    Lamar millers foot action.

Oh yeah, Wake has stated that his offseason training is working and he seemed a bit perplexed , he's getting bigger, faster, stronger....oh yeah babe..buttocks, I'm tellin yeah, when you watch the hall of fame game, just stare at it for a minute, out of respect..

Honestly the only thing I'm focusing on is the offensive line. How they do will tell me how the dolphins do this year

Always get excited about surprise performances. I think there will be some of those with the wr corp, cbs, and offensive line. Just my gut feeling. I want to see the guard situation solidified, and some reliable wrs in the preseason games.

Cornerbacks: some ease of mind that Grimes really is close to being back to his old form, and that he's a legit #1 CB. I think Will Davis is going to turn some heads. Would like to get an idea of what the CB rotation/depth chart is going to be, it's an interesting battle.

Runningbacks: the running game is my biggest concern at this point, I just don't think the roster is built for it to be all that good. I reaaalllyyy want to see someone emerge as a legit #2 runner behind Miller. I think Miller will look good in practice; my concern with him is in-game pressure situational stuff and just general toughness & durability through 4 quarters and 16 games. I don't think he's going to be a stud workhorse this year, so I want to see someone separate themselves from the rest to take some carries.

So pumped about this defense. Intrigued by the two new LBs, hopefully we'll get a better idea about why they were brought in to replaced two solid players. But man, if Grimes brings it and we can settle on a sweet DE/DL rotation with Jordan fitting in opposite Wake, this defense is going to be really freaking fun to watch.

And finally, dj closely analyzing bodies since we'll get plenty of no-pads photos - the musculature, the girth, the joints, Dion's glutes. The literal anatomy of a pro-bowler.

For me it will be about the progression of Lamar Miller, we let Bush walk and frankly last year he was about the only guy on the field who could make a play.

I'm confident though, just wanna SEE IT.

I´m really interested in our 2 new young corners in Davis and Taylor, how will they perform, Vernon is another dude i´m really interested in, looks like Jordan will miss some more time on the field so its on him, he is up to 268 pounds from 260 last year if i remember correct
