Woods was picked before we picked or would have picked in the 2nd round. So I am not sure how someone is going to be crying about the Fins not taking him (not saying you directly).

i understand I was just answering the direct question..

Hey, Matthews is back and reported connected deep with Tannehill..looks like we got ourselves a little player in Chad "I need a Bumphis."

Yes, we still need a WR... I can't understand why people think that signing Mike Wallace is the end all be all to our WR corps.

Mike Wallace is our only dynamic receiver (No TE's included in this conversation). I'm not excited about Brian Hartline being our #2 whatsoever. Guy can't break tackles and can't score. He had Brandon Marshall on the opposite side of him for two years and did nothing. But now that we have Mike Wallace, it's suddenly going to be different? Umm, no. Hartline was a waste of money. He's peaked already and it's far away from impressive.

Brandon Gibson is an interesting player. While he's another slow possession receiver, his statistical output of 1st downs and touchdowns percentage is quite ridiculous, only 2nd to Gronk. Although I'm not really sure what that means, because he's not a great talent like Gronk. Perhaps he's the real deal and perhaps he's a fluke. I could see it going either way and there's not enough there to make me think his signing makes the WR corps legitimate.

Fact is, our interest in Tavon Austin demonstrates this team's lack of confidence in our WR's corps big play capability. Which makes sense given who's on our roster. We have passed on WR's for far too long. Especially ones with speed and athleticism.

I dont think Wallace is the end all be all but the fact of the matter is the guy is a great wr. I know a lot of people see him as a one trick pony but I think once things get going we are going to see that he is anything but that. Also, Wallace's stats are not going to truly measure the impact he has on this offense. His speed and ability to get down field is going to open up a lot of the field for the rest of the receiving corps… to include the TE's down the middle of the field.

I have never been a huge fan of Hartron and I think everyone that follows any of the conversations I have had on this board about him knows that. IMO, he should be a 3rd WR in this offense for many of the reasons you mentioned. It will be interesting to see how having Wallace will effect him vs Marshall. Personally I was not a fan of the Gibson signing as I thought we were getting the same guy we have in Hartron. Where it gets interesting to me is with Matthews, McNutt and Bumphis. I think all those guys while not burners play the game at a fairly fast speed. IMO, they all play faster then Hartron and Gibson.

When I asked "do we even need another WR?" I was asking that question from an overview of the entire WR corps. I am very comfortable with the guys we have right now.

And while Luck is good, he's incredibly lucky too. Another dropped INT, this time for a TD.
