Alrighty...can't help it...I always write these down every year, and I'm usually within 2 games for all 4 teams (yes...even when we went 11-5 after 1-15, but I was nowhere NEAR the 1-15...had us 9-7 last year). 2013 AFC East Standings (predicted) New England 11-5 (5-1 division, split with Miami) Miami 10-6 (5-1 division, split with New England) Buffalo 6-10 (1-5 division, split with New York) NY Jets 5-11 (1-5 division, split with Buffalo) Anybody care to play along? Edit: Let me up the ante...whoever's closest, considering +/- for wins/losses, tiebreakers division standing, head-to-head in the division, I'll buy a Dolphins ballcap of your choosing! I'm not in the running for the hat.
I have a feeling we'll split with Buffalo again this season... we're playing at Buffalo in December, usually a tough game for us. I'm gonna go with: New England 11-5 (5-1 division, split with Miami) Miami 10-6 (4-2 division, split with New England, Buffalo) Buffalo 6-10 (2-4 division, split with Miami, New York) NY Jets 4-12 (1-5 division, split with Buffalo)
New England 12-4 (5-1 division, split with Miami), - Brady is going to prove he can win without Welker and da Killa. (caveat - if Gronk misses a big chunk of season, then patsies fall to 9-7 or 10-6) Miami 9-7 (4-2 division, split with New England, Buffalo). - going to take time for this team to come together. they start slow, but finish strong, winning 7 of last 9 games. Buffalo 7-9 (3-3 division, split with Miami, New York) - as much as I think EJ Manuel isn't that good (of a QB), his athleticism plus CJ Spiller means they pull a couple of games out of the hat NY Jets 2-14 (1-5 division, split with Buffalo) - they are going to tank because they have 2 awful QBs, bad WRs, no TE, and injury-prone RBs.
Sound possibilities. I have absolutely ZERO doubt Brady will make the new receivers look like pro-bowlers...it's what he does. I don't know why they'd ever give a WR a contract extension (and they usually don't).

Ne 11-5 (NE 5-1, buffalo sneaks one in) mia 8-8 (MIA 3-3, 0-2 NE, 1-1 BUF and 2-0 NYJ) buf 6-10(BUF 2-4, 1-1 NE, 1-1 MIA and 0-2 NYJ) nyj 5-11(NYJ 2-4, 0-2 NE, 0-2 MIA, 2-0 BUF)
Ne 11-5 (5-1 division, splitting with Miami) mia 9-7 (4-2 division, splitting with Buffalo and New England) buf 6-10 (2-4 division, swept by Pats, split with Miami and NYJ) nyj 5-11 (1-5 division, swept by Pats and Phins, split with Buffalo)
NE 10-6 (5-1 splitting with Miami) Miami 10-6 (4-2 splitting with NE and Buff) Buff 7-9 (2-4 splitting with Miami and NY) NY 3-13 (1-5 slitting with Buff)
New England 12-4 (5-1) Brady/Bellichek Roll On. Buffalo 10-6 (4-2) On the rise Miami 7-9 (3-3) Eh Jets 5-11 (0-6) Goodbye Rex Ryan
NE: 12-4 (5-1, split with Miami) - Tom Brady people. Miami 10-6 (split with NE and Jets) - I think our defense can hold NE to a degree. Hopefully, our offense can keep up. NYJ 8-8 (3-3) Split with Miami) - Jet's still have a defense. Chris Ivory is a bit underrated, IMO. With some decent WR threats, will fight for .500 status Buffalo 4-12 (0-6) - Kolb sucks. Emanuel sucks. Team is doing nothing.
New England 12-4 (5-1 Division Record) Miami 9-7 (3-3 Division Record) New York 8-8 (2-4 Division Record) Buffalo 6-10 (1-5 Division Record)
Miami 11-5 (4-2 division) New England 11-5 (4-2 division) Buffalo 7-9 (3-3 division) New York 4-12 (1-5 division)
New England 12-4 (5-1 split with Miami) Miami 10-6 (5-1 split with NE) Buffalo 4-12 (1-5 split with NY) New York 3-13 (1-5 split with Buf)
Fins 11-5 (4-2 split w Pats/Bills) Pats 9-7 (4-2 split w Fins/Bills) Bills 6-10 (2-4) Jets 4-12 (0-6) Difference between Fins and Pats will be the harder AFC-Schedule (@ Houston and and vs. Broncos). Two potential loses while we play @Indy and vs. SD which should be a tad easier to win.
2013 AFC East Standings (predicted) Miami 10-6 (5-1 division, split with Buffalo/december in buffalo) New England 8-8 (3-3 in division, miami sweeps, split with NYJ and Buf) Buffalo 6-10 (1-5 division, split with Miami) NY Jets 6-10 (1-5 division, split with NE)
Why? They have 0 WRs, a shotty oline, below average running backs, and an awful defense. 8-9 wins is all I see from them, Tom Brady is not 28 anymore.
Thats ridiculous!!!!!!!! Tom Brady has a huge ***** and everyone in the NFL is swinging from it! They will beat us by 700 points collectivley then sleep with all the defenders wives on the flight home!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh the irony, the hilarious irony ! No offense, but you've been ready to throw away tons of players before giving them a chance. I.e. "will Davis was a waste of a pick" If only your faith in the dolphins was as strong as your faith in the pats... Can't say I blame you tho. With these predictions pools it's wise to go against the grain anyway, you may prefer the odds of one extreme occurrence like the pats struggling, as apposed to tying half the contenders and falling back on tiebreakers.
