I would hang on to Jennings. For one he has trade value (name recognition) and two Thompson hasnt done a thing in game action yet. If you wanna drop say Ingram or BJGE for Thompson then imo thats more understandable.
Last one 10 Team Standard Romo/ Vick J. Charles, L. McCoy, L. Miller, D. Richardson, S. Vareen, L. Dunbar, R. Helu Fitzgerald, Bowe, D. Jackson, K. Thompkins J.Graham Rams G. Zuerlein My least fav of the 3, but a playoff team I think.
I agree Nicks can be a beast.. But hasn't looked the same this preseason. The deciding factor in it was that I already had Aj green and Bowe with Nelson or Shorts in the 3rd slot. That gives me AP, Trent at RB and CJ2K in the Flex. With Britt, HeywardBey and Nelson/Short on the bench.
Not bad, id probably try and package romo with one of the spare RBs for an upgrade at QB...Stafford or Ryan or maybe newton if someone is still not realizing that hes in for a monster year
I'm actually real comfortable with Romo...Murray will be hurt and Romo has a helluva core of pass catchers. Not to mention they won't be running out the clock often. If he is my biggest worry, I did better than I think.
Would you guys do a ray rice, AJ green and Brandon Gibson for mike Wallace David Wilson and Jason witten? I got martellius Bennett as a back up. So I would be starting him.
If I was getting rice sure. If I was getting the wallace side Id file a rape attempt charge because thats what whoever proposed that deal is trying to do.
The only major issues I see are Romo and maybe the Rams D which Im not as high on as many are. I hate Romo for the record..choke artist and fantasy headache. I dont touch him in drafts as anything other then a backup which basically means never.
Well he offered me Gibson rice and green for Wallace Wilson witten and hartline. I should of accepted it. But I thought I had him on the ropes and I declined it and countered. Then he declined my counter offer. Now I'm trying to talk him back into that original offer without me giving up hartline too.
Just had my money draft last night... 10 Teams Start 2 QBs 6pt. passing TDs QB - Drew Brees QB - RG3 RB - Chris Johnson RB - David Wilson WR - Larry Fitzgerald WR - Torrey Smith Flex - Cecil Shorts TE - Gronkowski DEF/ST - Baltimore K - Hartley BE - Chris Ivory BE - DeSean Jackson BE - Jermichael Finley BE - Alex Smith BE - Vincent Brown BE - Jacquizz Rodgers BE - Danny Woodhead BE - DeAndre Hopkins
What you think about my picks? I feel not having enough depth at the RBs position QB - R. Griffin RB - R.Rice RB - A. Morris WR - D. Bryant WR - V. Jackson TE - Olsen W/R - R. Bush D - Rams K - C.Sturgis BN-QB - M. Ryan BN-QB - A.Dalton BN-RB - S. Greene BN-WR - A Brown BN- WR - S. Smith BN- TE - B.Myers Bn- TE -K.Rudolph Thanks for your helps, which TE you guys would start?
Not bad....imo you wil be starting Desean over Cecil Shorts very soon. I think Jackson is in for a huge year in that offense without Maclin there to steal targets. Olsen is the TE I would start. Rudolph is a tricky one because his points are extremely touchdown dependent meaning that if he doesnt score he doesnt really help you much because he doesnt get the same volume of catches as a good te or wr. For that reason I dont believe he should be rostered. TE's have lower point totals typically then RBs and WR's. You should probably search for a semi sleeper at RB or a running back handcuff (Joquie Bell is Bushs handcuff in Detroit, Pierce in Balt, Helu in Washington etc). Better use of a roster spot imo. No need for 3 TE anyway. Pretty solid team all around. Olsen is the start, Myers is the backup.
Agreed. Especially with an improved OL, Jackson should have time to run deep. I am a huge Cecil Shorts fan. IMO, one of the more talented players in the league, but he has no QB. Prob will start Jackson this week.
I'd be interested to hear what the opinions of Vincent Brown are around here.... I'm up in the air on stashing him on the bench or waiting to see how he plays.
Just got offered a trade, desean Jackson and Lamar miller for forte and boldin . what do you guys think? this is my starting line up: QB: Cam Newton (4) WR: Dwayne Bowe (3) WR: Steve Smith (5) WR: Cecil Shorts (6) RB: Trent Richardson (1) RB: Matt Forte (2) TE: Brandon Myers (10)
I might be in the minority on this but I would take it. Phins fan bias aside Im a huge believer in Miller and only a fool believes Daniel Thomas is actually a threat to his carries. Thomas might plod away a few goalline/short-yardage situations but we already know what Forte is....a good rb who always gets hurt. Plus as Ive said 10x I like Desean a lot this year and I dont know how much I believe in Cecil Shorts. Forte and Miller are separated by 1 spot on my board while I rank Jackson MUCH higher then I rank Boldin.
Romo only scored less than 20 points 5 times last year and 30 or more 4 times, would I want him as a REAL QB?? Nope, but he's just a top 7 fantasy scorer IMO. Rams Defense is a gamble, they have a couple big play CB's and a potential playmaking OLB in Ogletree. The X factor for me was Tavon returning punts.
The times I have drafted Romo I really wished I hadnt. It was either slow start, slow finish or general week to week inconsistency. Plus I was just thinking about this when I was talking to a friend about our league, that team looks like theyre going to run the ball A LOT this year. I think they may actually be a league leader in rush attempts which could drag down the Master of Meltdowns numbers
Here is my team. 14 player PPR. DST Texans(DST) HOU DST Redskins(DST) WAS K Crosby, Mason(K) GB QB Kaepernick, Colin(QB) SF QB Tannehill, Ryan(QB) MIA RB McCoy, LeSean(RB) PHI RB Miller, Lamar(RB) MIA RB Ingram, Mark(RB) NO RB Redman, Isaac(RB) PIT RB Taylor, Stepfan(RB) ARI WR Shorts, Cecil(WR) JAC TE Bennett, Martellus(TE) CHI TE Housler, Rob(TE) ARI WR Cobb, Randall(WR) GB WR Jones, Julio(WR) ATL WR Allen, Keenan(WR) SD WR Gordon, Josh(WR) CLE WR Jones, Jacoby(WR) BAL WR Patton, Quinton(WR) SF WR Simpson, Jerome(WR) MIN Few notes: I kept Lamar Miller over Bush I selected Cecil Shorts over Mike Wallace (gut feeling) I like my roster except my depth at RB. May have to try and pull a trade once my WR depth gets going with some solid games.
Need a little help at the TE position, who should I start? Brandon Myers @ dallas or Jordan Cameron @ miami At the end of the day I think Jordan Cameron is going to be the breakout TE of the year like Jimmy Graham was (who I took in like the 10th round a few years ago) but just not sure if he's gonna ball out so soon. Thanks.
I want to say Cameron will have a nice game against us because we're historically poor at covering TEs... but I'd probably go Myers.
I'd stick with Myers, Cameron looks like a future star...but IMO he has to prove it first. Plus Eli is lite years better than Weeden.
My final team and my biggest money league. I'm really not that thrilled with my Bench players. 12 Team PPR: QB: Eli Manning RB: Adrian Peterson RB: Matt Forte WR: Demaryius Thomas WR: Dwayne Bowe Flex: Lamar Miller Flex: T.Y. Hilton TE: Jordon Cameron DST: Bucs (due to week 1 Matchup against the Jets) K: Justin Tucker BN: Le'Veon Bell BN: Chris Givens BN: Ronnie Hillman BN: Rueben Randle BN: Daniel Thomas BN: Johnathan Franklin IR: Percy Harvin
14 team ppr I have Lamar miller, gio Bernard, montee ball, and ben Tate as my RBs Would you feel comfortable with this or would you look to trade Fitz(I also have marshall) for a more solid rb? I think I could work Jackson and Hilton for fitz and trade ben Tate for Josh Gordon. So what do you like better Marshall Fitz Miller Bernard Ball Tate OR Marshall Hilton Jackson Miller Bernard Gordon
