Julius Thomas & Jordan Cameron are still possibly available. Let me know if interested and I'll peruse your roster to see if any strikes my interest.
I had the pleasure of this week to play Manning in 3 leagues, AJ Green in 3, Some sort of combo of Thomas, Welker, Denver D in 4 leagues. Feels bad.
GIK's 7 RB & WR scored 10 TDs. Not a good week to burn Hartline's lone score of the season. I'm at 266.4 with Connor Barwin to go. Could've had an extra 50 pts had I started Miami D, Donnie Avery at WR, and played Julius Thomas & Cameron at Flex.
Dont call it a comeback....from 80 points down suckaaaaa It took 3 defensive td's from Carr Hali and Cushing but somehow my team got it done.
Since fin d said you were so good at that ill leave it to you since you obviously take a lot of pride in your work
I'm not a fan of the waivers either. But it's my fault for not reading how it was going to work. What's not my fault is Boik abusing his power as the commissioner of our league. Vetoing the trade between Todd and FoundMyThrill of TRich for DRich and Gonzo was ridiculous. That was a perfectly legit trade that was vetoed simply because he didn't like it. I don't think Boik should be able to arbitrarily decide what trades go through and what don't based on his own pre-conceived notions of the players in the trade. He will tell you that he reached out to other members of the league before making the decision to veto, and I believe him even though I wasn't a member he spoke to. But if he's going to do that anyway, why not put the veto process back to league vote? If two people want to make a trade based upon their opinion on the players in the trade they should be allowed to. If the trade is bunk then the league will handle it as always has happened. However it should not be at the discretion of one man. His actions have undermined the integrity of the league. We are supposed to play together, not FOR Boik. If these actions by Boik are any indication of things to come I will remove all players from my lineup and leave this league.
It's funny b/c had Derek and I done that first trade last week he would've beaten me like 267 to 266. Instead I beat him by 30.
I only like the Gonzo trade because of the injuries to Jones and White. On the other side of the coin Browns are going to be down in a lot of games so running isn't going to be a huge priority which hurts his value IMO. The 3rd deal was also fair IMO. So for the recap. 1st trade - Veto 2nd trade - Sure 3rd trade - Sure
The waivers werent my 1st choice but I didnt see an option to do Free Agent Auction Bidding again. And I wasnt doing Yahoo's invite only bs. Secondly, I didnt abuse my power. I did what i felt was right not what I felt like doing and I then put my own feelings aside because Id rather Todd and PSG be active and ok with my decisions. Third, my leagues HAVE ALWAYS been and will always be commish veto because of two reasons...1) sometimes other league members dont pay attention and 2) too many times people veto stuff just for the sake of doing so. See how that works? But you didnt even realize my leagues have always been commish veto because I almost never veto stuff unless I feel it is really bad both trade was and for the competitiveness of the league. I also do it so I can process stuff right away instead of making people wiat 2-3 days and allowing people to set their lineups. Lastly, stop whining and making threats. Youre not playing for me. Youre playing for fun and for competition. If you want to remove your players from your lineup I can simply re-insert them and lock the team just as I can re-add them if you dropped them.
All the more reason the trade shouldn't have been vetoed. And Boik, it's not a threat. It's a promise.
For the sake of transparency I demand to know which owners in the league you consulted with before you made your decision to veto the trade.
I was one that he talked with. You're making this a bigger deal than it should be. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
As an experienced league commish for big money leagues... You absolutely only veto trades that are obvious attempts at colliding and manipulation of the trade option. You don't just veto a trade because you don't agree with it or feel like player A is winning the trade over player B. Thats kind of like assuming your knowledge of the players and the future trumps the trading party. I don't know the details of the trade but I do know that opinions vary WAY TOO MUCH for one guy to veto a trade that doesn't appear to have a malicious agenda. -fantasy expert
THIS. A million times THIS. And those of you saying that it's not a big deal then you don't understand THIS^
I've been in the middle of an office move since last week. Never realized I was starting two inactive guys...
Jesus Christ all those uneventful Jamaal Charles runs near the EZ were killin' me. As I'm typing this, fuggin Justin Houston sacks Vick again and continues to single-handedly beat me this week with 27.9 pts.
