Atlanta Falcon Stephen Jackson injured his thigh today. He left the game and did not return. Hopefully he feels better in two weeks. Post info in this ****OFFICIAL** Thread!
Jason Snelling and Jacquizz Rogers. Snelling would probably be one that sees 15-17 carries if Jackson cant go. Hes helped my fantasy team before I know that....Either way its nothing to sneeze at. In some ways Id actually rather face Jackson in that hes a straight-line back for the most part at this stage of his career where as Snelling and Rogers are more perimeter oriented backs who can hit more big plays.
its not only jackson, 4 more players were done by halftime....jackson, bierman, weatherspoon, samuel and another one i can't remember
on the falcons board the word is although not confirmed that FB Bradie Ewing broke his shoulder and Kroy Bierman tore his achilles
Snelling isn't fast enough to be a real outside threat IMO. Rodgers is a back I've liked for a long time, since college. I think if he got a chance to start for the season he could put up good numbers. I don't know who Rogers is.
Anybody really worried about him though? Bradshaw had a good game, but its not opponents' rushing attacks that worry me. It's tight ends and elite WR's. Hopefully Patterson is back so Grimes has better help. Though I guess it helps to not have to worry as much about the run game regardless.
Was surprised at the Colts success on the ground against our D. Hopefully we tighten that up before Atlanta, who will really commit to the run, I would imagine. I don't fear Jackson though. He's a solid back who can do it all, but his days of 'going off' are behind him. Quizz is a guy who can make big plays and change the game, imo. I'm a pretty big fan of his. But in general with Atl, I think it's just that their balance sets up the playaction big play stuff on the perimeter, and opens up the middle for Gonz. Their RBs aren't great, but their commitment to running is key. In other news, Ray Rice got hurt his hip yesterday too, and we play Balt after Atl. Guy hasn't missed a game in years...Weird. He's certainly a game-changer who consistently abuses LBs in coverage. Would be a big plus for us if he misses our game or isn't 100%.
{Baltimore #5} is after {Atlanta #3} this Sunday and {New Orleans #4} the following Monday night. Though I agree with your sentiment.
I think there's a lot of opportunity for Miami to beat Atlanta. Steven Jackson will potentially be out, Roddy White appears hindered by injury, and Tony Gonzalez hasn't been particularly good, and their tackles have arguably been the worst duo in the league so far, with the only respite coming from Chris Long playing through injury. They've got to figure out a solution for Julio Jones, basically.
Hit Matt Ryan early and often. Score TDs! And score early (like Colts game) get crowd pumped, amped and rowdy....our D will respond!!!
Rookie corner opposite Samuels (who has a rookie spelling Samuels, himself), just a serviceable defensive line, a very meh O-line. I've been saying for a couple weeks that we match up well with them. Besides Julio Jones, I still think the Dolphins have to key in on Tony Gonzalez. And my x-factor from them is Harry Douglas, who is underrated as a #3 receiver (if that isn't redundant).

Yeah, reports last week were saying Dimitri Patterson was going to be on the field. Look how that turned out.
Jackson being out hurts, along with the others. They aren't going to commit to the run whether he's in or isn't. They're currently at 75/25 clip of passing to running. They're no longer the run all day with Burner Turner. They sling it.
