Personality clash. Schiano never liked him. He's played poorly to boot. And now Freeman has checked out and flagrantly trying to get out of there. Highly unprofessional.

On the other side, Schiano hasn't exactly gotten off to the best start with his players either. Certainly not a player's coach.

Thanks for clearing that up. I know he has been struggling this season but he also is not that far removed from a fairly good season. Seems like Freeman does have an attitude issue but Schiano seems like a very polarizing coach as well. Interesting to see how Glennon does. Also - Dan Orlovsky is now the 2nd string QB in TB. Freeman must really have ticked off Schiano to be inactive over Dan O.

He missed multiple meetings this week and asked to be traded or released. He's largely radioactive at this point.

As for Schiano, he was voted most disliked coach last year in a TSN players poll. I remember reading how much NFL personnel people despised him during his time at Rutgers.

Well I don't think there's a market waiting for Josh Freeman. lol Bunch of nice quarterbacks coming out next draft that I would rather have over Josh.

He better practice his clipboard holding technique. He's not going to be a franchise quarterback again.

After yesterday Schiano proved he is the ultimate control freak scumbag. Him, that dirtbag Mortenson and ESPN can all f off. Other than watching the football I am forced to on ESPN, I will watch nothing else ever again.

Funny you say that about Freeman. There was a meeting earlier that Freeman was told not to attend, for what appears, to be a smear campaign to make it look as though he skipped it.

Definitely a smear campaign. He's a good guy. Schiano isn't.

All I'm hearing in bradenton is about how bad on coke he's been the past couple years.

I think he has had 46 drug tests in the past 2 years. He isn't passing those test all ya-oh'd up.

Who says he's passed all of them? There is reports of him NFLs drug rehab. He claims it was because of Ritalin. We will never know. and let's not act as if drug tests are hard to cheat on. And couple that with coke staying in your system a very very short period of time (unlike Mary Jane), it wouldn't be hard for him to stay clean.

If he failed he would have been suspended. The NFL drug test is nearly impossible to skirt, with the exception of Von Miller who's debacle is public. If he was coked up like the "street police" are reporting in Bradenton then he is getting busted, either through the drug test or by the real PD.

I used to see him out a good bit and his brother even more so. I'm not out as much these days so couldn't tell ya. Don't know about the coke stuff, but he was a laid back guy and up for fun in a cool part of town.

Unless it's changed, NFL doesn't suspend a player for first positive test of cocaine. They enter a rehab instead. Where as if they test positive for Mary Jane, they get suspended automatically with no rehab. Like I said, unless it's changed. And this stuff comes out that he was forced to enter NFLs drug rehab for...Ritalin? Like I said, it might be true. I'm just telling you what I have heard. I don't have any evidence, one way or the other.

He could be doing coke 2 times a week and not get caught. Like I said, it doesn't stay in your system more then a couple days, as compared to say, weed which is 30 to 30+.

Also, if you think everyone in the NFL is not smoking weed and not getting caught, I'd say your pretty damn gullible. You think Von Miller is the only NFL player smoking?

Yea, I've heard he loves to party. Which there is nothing wrong with as long as it's controlled. It is different to hear that he is a good guy, not that I've heard different, but based on what I see and public knowledge, I would guess the opposite. But some body that has been around him obviously knows me then I would.

Obviously guys are doing illegal drugs and drugs deemed illegal by the NFL. My point is that he is on the radar and with 46 randoms tests over 2 years the odds are stacked he is going to get nailed. That's without discussing the social media fiasco where you can hardly take a leak without someone taking a pic of your pecker if you are a celeb. I take street talk as just that. Usually it comes from people who want to be in a clic and get the blow off for being hangers on or want to seem like they are always in the know.

Looks like he was released. Jags should go after him. I'd try and go after him too personally, as I see more in him than Devlin.

But then Freeman is gone next year, along with Devlin who you just released to make room for Freeman. With Matt Moore's cap number next season, he could be cut too.

If we didn't have Tannehill, id be interested in Freeman. I think Jacksonville, Cleveland (Hoyer is out for the year), St. Louis, and maybe a few sleeper destinations make sense for him.

I'm honestly surprised Buffalo did not sign Freeman. He ended up with Minny.
