Usually he has been more than fine on kickoffs. This past game was out of character for him.

I don't know man this kids been winning games for me on my fantasy team lol. I didn't mean to sound really confrontational I just think its really only one kick thats a big deal, the kickoff out of bounds is unforgivable I'll say that, I hate when kickers do that. But a 57 yarder on grass? Cmon that would have been arguably a top 10 kick all time if he makes that, I'd give even a good long distance kicker maybe a 25% chance to make that kick I think being critical of him missing that is over the top he shouldn't have made that kick it was incredibly hard and really unrealistic to think he could have made it. 51 or maybe 53? Yeah but 57 is crazy long.

Then you would blame Ireland for wasting a roster spot.

kickoff returns are literally dead, every kicker is hitting a decent amount of TB, no need to waste a roster spot and all you haters would probably complain about wasting a roster spot too

Because the Ravens kick returner is a beast and was having a great day, I thought he shanked a squib on that kick0off. Kinda looked that way.

And the 57 yarder, with the unit rushing out there. The whole thing was weird and ugly. Not to mention, I was surprised there was no "ice." The only shame is that the 57 yd attempt blemishes an otherwise extremely impressive start to a promising career. Kid is $$$.

To be honest, I know its hindsight now, but 57 yarder, quick rushing out there to kick it, no time outs.....wouldnt that be an incredible time to call a fake FG? I know thats something you gotta blow the dust off of on the playbook....but thats classic catch em off guard. Probably the same percentage of probability of a rookie making a rushed 57 yarder anyways, no? Ravens are amped, its the last play of the game, they are rushing the kicker.....bam throw it out to the flats to Egnew.

Ill PM the coaches my # if they want to hire me...

The previous play was a drop. So the clock was stopped.

Not so far off after all. Sturgis is "probable" with a lingering groin issue.

Nothing a reach around or a quick trip to the rub & tug won't fix. Which one of you "men" are gonna take 1 for the team.
