Every one of these bad calls has led to points and has been a huge momentum turn for the Pats.....this is just an game is just not winnable with the Refs making these calls. Horrible officiating. Another Robert Kraft gift from Goodell. Just make Kraft the commissioner and let him run the NFL already.
Its clear the dolphins aren't supposed to win this, call after call these refs keep ****ing us. The NFL has decided who wins already
I really do not get it. This team plays a fantastic HALF seemingly every game! This is a 60 minute game. Not 30!
It would be one thing if the bad calls were going both ways. But this is purely one sided and some of the biggest BS calls I've ever seen.
yup, can't reach out to recover a fumble against NE w/o getting a penalty for it. Any subjective penalty they can call or not call in New England's favor they'll make.
How much do you get fined for criticizing the refs? I'll start a fund to pay for Philbin to rant about it at the presser.
I wouldn't have thrown a flag on the play, but if the ref determined that the player was shoving the ball, instead of trying to recover it, that is a penalty. Like you I thought he was trying to recover it, but the ref didn't see it the same way. The refs aren't winning this game for the Patriots. The fact the Dolphins have done nothing on offense in the second half and Tannehill has turned the ball over twice is the reason the Dolphins are losing right now.
Refs aside, it is clear that the Pats have a much better coaching staff then the Fins do. We scored 17 points in the first half, Pats adjust and we get nothing in the 2nd..
Miami's played pretty poorly in the 2nd half after the missed FG. The run defense has turned to swiss cheese, due in no small part to having Olivier Vernon and Isaako Aaitui both on the field at the same time.
Exactly, Vernons hand is making a swiping motion towards his body as if to pull the ball towards him... not slap it down the ****ing field. But ya know, a football is oddly shaped... so it does weird things... If vernon was motioning like he was slapping the ball further down the field, i dont question the call, but he's clearly not, its just the way the ball bounced.
I quite simply will not blame the refs entirely for this. You have to create your own breaks and the Dolphins have a knack for being the "victim" for the other teams breaks. I hope Philbin is not let off the hook for this. Same for assistants; especially Sherman. I have been a Dolphin fan for along time and never have I been this fed up. Next year I guess?
I know. It was more of a statement that everyone has been given so many excuses for Tannehill. I will not anymore.
At least 10 points to the refs and we are down by 10.......thanks for at least admitting the call was bad announcers but jesus this game is brutal. just brutal.
