We got royally screwed today, by a variety of sources. - The pass interference call, led to 3 Patriot points was absolutely awful. - The holding call on Patterson, which led to 7 Patriot points was worse. - The illegal batting was an attempt to read someones mind. Awful call, cost 7 points. - We are up 14, coming off a 3 and out by the Patriots. Wallace with a clean drop, would have made it first and goal. Instead, we take a sack, pushing us back and Sturgis misses a long field goal. - We run for over 100 yards in the first half. As SOON as the Patriots score, pulling within 7 points Mike Sherman panics, abandons the run. The Patriots start dialling up the blitz, everyone but Sherman sees this and he starts going empty backfield and changing the protection scheme that worked well in the first half. I'm done. Joe Philbin is officially coaching for his coaching future. We got our asses KICKED in the 2nd half and the coaching staff has a lot to do with it.
The ref argument is what you hear from fans of a losing team. Plain and simple, this team lost the game. It was a collective effort.
I've been saying for years its Ireland and yet the apologists kept pooh-poohing me....well was I right ?
OMG, can you give it a ****ing rest? I mean really, what is your ****ing problem? do you think we didnt get your point the first 1000 times your posted the same ****ing dribble?
I gave you the benefit of the doubt earlier by not putting you on ignore, but every post is the same line over and over again. Its not that I agree, or disagree, its just so ridiculous to read over and over. See ya!
You guys know what needs to be done. You've known for a while now. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
Just shut up. Sturgis is not the reason Miami lost today, and Carpenter was not the reason Buffalo won last week.
I will agree with this, most days. We got bent over the hamper by the officials today. They gifted the Patriots 17 points.
Let's not get upset. The fact is that this team is totally inept. It's not a matter of attitude. It's fact. And recognizing it is the first step in fixing what's wrong.
Quit crying about the refs. The Dolphins defense and offense failed to show up in the second half. THAT IS WHY THE DOLPHINS LOST THIS GAME. Two missed FG's (one blocked), is also a reason for this loss.
I'm not against a rebuild at all. No one in this organization has impressed me. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
Good part about all of this is now I don't have to choose between taking my kid trick or treating or watching the dolphins.
When Gibson left I lifted an eyebrow....when Sturgis missed the second FG I was in denial....holding call and I just smiled. I guess you can't have a blackout when the game is at 1PM huh NFL?
You get outscored 24 to 0 in the second half, and have no offensive continuity. It is what it is. Got outcoached, outscored, outplayed when it counts.
Do I still have time to father a child to take trick or treating or do I have to ask Gamepass for a refund?
Exactly. I mean sure we still left alot on the field all on our own, but two third down conversions by bogus penalties, then negating the fumble by Brady yet again on a third down IIRC... leads to another 7 for NE. Thats just impossible to overcome
Sadly, mostly agree... I'd throw in the sideline drop by Clay where the ball was perfectly thrown and he dropped/misplayed it. Dunno that Sherman abandoned the run. Philbin and Tannehill both had stated that "one of their principles" is to audible to passing plays if the defense puts extra guys on the line. Sherman likes to run it. Philbin prefers to pass.
I'm soooooooooooooooo glad I made peace with myself and this team after the Buffalo loss. It's hard to give a crap anymore
