THE First Take Crew is killing the orginaztion for covering this up and are saying the whole orginaztion should be suspended players, coaching staff. Miami coaches are acused of sweeping this under the rug. the media wants Goddell to shut the the team down. how is Philbin and Ireland keeping their jobs . somebody should be fired , TODAY!!!
I agree with what's been said on this site. The Four Letter will make the Marin issue a priority on their network this week to make the Monday Night game against a winless Tampa Bay team hypable. I predict even if Martin comes back to the team this week, this will be the only thing being discussed all week long regarding the Dolhins.
Stephen A clearly has an agenda. Also its sickening how he had to "put cog on bladt" by showing his picture the way they did. When it was jpp being the bug bad bully he loved it.
Oh no! Not First Take! The most reputable sports show on the most reputable sports network?! Say it ain't so! I'm putting you on balst, Aquafin.
Not even turing on ESPN this whole week cause of that. ESPN has shown they will do anything to create drama and increase viewership. And if that means only getting one side of the story and having guys like Shefter with all his "sources" tweet about every rumor he hears and treating it like a fact then so be it.
When Steven A and SKip talk, trends follow. Hate them all you want if they get the ball rolling this will only get worse.
Unfortunately the Dolphins are in this mess, partly of their own doing by not being in front of the story. Of course the media is going to report on it. It's a weird, unusual and interesting story with a lot of different directions it might go. And shows like first Take are built on controversy and contrived "debate" so this is right up their alley. It's meaningless drivel. Don't watch it if you don't like it.
Am I the only one that feels like the Chiefs got less flak for the Jovan Belcher thing than the Dolphins are getting for a serious, but let's be real here, far, far, far less serious issue than one that happened less than a year ago?
That wasn't a locker room issue and it was something that no one could have possibly known about. By all accounts Belcher was a good teamate and most of the people in the building thought he and his GF had a great relationship. And when the issue came to a head, Pioli and Crennel tried to stop his suicide. They did what they could, being amateurs in handling such a situation
Wait... what? He was a rookie last year when Martin was a rookie, and when some of the crap took place. How does this reflect on him? I think now is when we'll see (or not see) how good of a leader Tannehill is.
Look, unfortunately teams go through this stuff. Put that many human beings together and there is bound to be friction at times. Hailing from just outside Philly, I am an Eagles and Dolphins fan. Does anyone remember what the Eagles just went through? Not as big, but similar. One player using racial slurs and threatening members of that race. Granted it wasn't directed toward a teammate, but no one knew if he would be accepted by the team again. The organization was BLASTED for not doing enough. Fans and media alike accused the Eagles of sending Riley Cooper away for a few days for "treatment" that may or may not have actually taken place. His teammates didn't accept him right away. 2-3 months later....nada. You don't hear peep about it. Yesterday I saw Riley standing with Vick, Foles and Desean Jackson. Jackson must have told a joke because Cooper started cracking up and leaned over and hugged Vick. It seemed as though, those players at least, have moved past it. This is a different animal. Maybe RI gets cut. Who knows right now...However, I don't think members of the front office need to lose their jobs. Unless of course it comes out that they covered up a whole heck of a lot. RI has always been a punk in this league... Most of his colleges despise him and he really isn't a great player. If he is the player with most of the fault and a few other teammates pitching in from time to time, I'm fine with RI getting cut with some fines to the others. Hopefully everything that RI's father is saying is just the words of an old fatherly blowhard. Losing RI, Pouncey and Martin would be tough to bounce back from. This too shall pass...hopefully with as little lasting effect as possible.
It appears most everyone on here is upset with the media and the reporting concerning what is happening in this situation with the Dolphins. Since it is already accepted that no one except some members of the Dolphins even know what the facts truly are. The media has done its job, which today is to create a discussion regarding an issue without knowing all the facts. This has been the role of the media ever since they stopped reporting the truth years ago and instead started creating controversy to remain relevant. There is a reason Fox News is the most watched news station and it certainly isn't because they report the truth. It is because they incite the uninformed to believe the lies they report as truth. The mass public buys into this type of reporting and therefore this type reporting has taken over the news business, including sports. It's all about getting the public to talk about the news channels. It isn't about reporting the facts, since they don't even know the facts at this time. Based on all the comments regarding this issue and the various takes on what individual members of the media have said about the issue. It is obvious that the media is doing a very good job of getting public attention and having everyone talk about the reports in the media. They don't care if you like what they say or report. They only care that you are listening and discussing what they are saying. They have accomplished this and so they have won. Next week it will be some other issue they will be reporting and that will be the hot issue of the moment. It's all about the money, not the truth. Just watch Fox News for a few hours some day and you will realize that getting a large audience is what's important, not actually reporting the truth.
Play football man, We got the Bucs Monday night and we need to take care of business. Mike Pouncey isn't going anywhere, J. Martin will be back at it for us. I doubt Incognito returns but Dallas Thomas or Garner can step up and take his place...Just play football, there is no reason to listen to the drama. I'm not going to, thats for sure. We got Tampa Bay coming up and we need to beat them to stay in the playoff race.

Time for Aqua to get lawyered up with all the bullying in this thread. I'm sure he could get this site balsted right off the net.
I love when the Dolphins are in the news - it usually means they are doing something good but this is really bad. I can't imagine this is going to help the rest of the season at all. if anything, it is something else we can blame on a poor season!! KP
