Alright, where is everyone going for BF?? Last year I went to wal mart. First time I had ever been black friday shopping...
I'll be playing football with friends like I do every Black Friday. No offense, Nappy but Black Friday is for women. Don't get sucked into mob mentality bull****. Check out sites like slickdeals.org where it's Black Friday all year round. Any of the real decent Black Friday deals aren't worth fighting for. And the other deals really aren't deals.
Yea. Getting 50inch TVs are really for women. Lol By the way. Try playing football Thursday morning, ya know, the Turkey Bowl, like the rest of the male population
Where I always shop... http://www.amazon.com 50" TVs... http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=tv_nav_...d_t=101&pf_rd_p=1670044722&pf_rd_i=1266092011 Free shipping if you're a Prime Member and select Prime Eligible items...
Standing in line starting at midnight to get a "deal" on a 50" TV is, yes. Ok, I know it's not only women that are into it, but Black Friday is a sucker's bet in my humble opinion. Report back on what you get for your efforts on Black Friday. And I'll wager you I'd be able to get the same or better deal within 3 months online without having to wait in line for hours, deal with traffic / crowds or leave the comfort of my chair. And it would be delivered to directly to my house for free. Don't let me piss in your cheerios, some people have fun waiting in lines and being part of "the crowd" for events like this. If you're one of those people then go for it. Whatever makes you happy. But football on Thursday? Maybe that's how they do it where you're from but everyone I know plays on Friday. Thursday is for family. And who wants to get up and play football after the biggest drinking night of the year (Wednesday before Thanksgiving)?
Only if the Brack Friday Bunduru actually exists.
I saw that they're doing that countdown to BF thing, but do they put out even better deals on the day or is this the best they get?
I don't recall them doing it before, but they are actually already offering them... I'm a Prime member ($80 per year), which means free 2 day shipping and and returns. I buy from Amazon constantly though. They'll also have even better deals in January after the Holiday sales rush is over if you're willing to wait. They compete with Bestbuy, Sam's Club, etc... and others. Another benefit is that unless you're in the same state, there is no state sales tax tagged on, so while BB may offer something for $30 or so less, it's sometimes still actually cheaper with Amazon as there is no sales tax. If you're not a Prime member, you either have to pay shipping, or find items where the shipping costs are built in. For me, it's worth it to stay home, read reviews, and order online. I've bought everything from them... furniture, clothes, TVs, car parts, tires, beds, movies, etc... well worth the cost of 2 tanks of gas for the membership IMO.
Thanks, man. I do use Amazon quite a bit myself. In this case I'm buying a bunch of saws and drills and Amazon has the DeWalt's I want for about $20 less a piece.
Amazon has pretty much the best review process maybe outside of Yelp. Even if I'm not going to buy from Amazon (I do most of the time) I use their reviews religiously. Brick and mortar stores are on borrowed time. Online shopping is great. I do all my Christmas shopping online during my lunch breaks every year. And I get free holiday shipping.
I never go out on Black Friday. I don't like chaotic crowds and even going to the mall on a normal Saturday gives me a headache. On the other side, there is a small part of me that wants to check it out one year just to see the chaos that ensues. Every year there are multiple stories about people injured, or even killed in the stampede of trying to save a few bucks on a toaster.

I have someone drop me off at the mall and then I walk around thr parking lot with a bag in one hand and car keys in the other. Walk up to random parked cars with your keys out. Stand there for a minute and then walk off. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
