Cornerback Dimitri Patterson, limited to five games this season because of a groin injury, said he hopes to return to practice this week but wasn’t certain. Daniel Thomas worked on the side at Dolphins’ practice and the team remains hopeful he will play against this season. Here’s where Ryan Tannehill ranks in the league through 12 games: sixth in attempts, ninth in completions, 17th in completion percentage, 11th in yards, 23rd in average gain, 14th in touchdowns (17), 29th in interceptions (13) and 24th in rating (83.2). By the way, Tannehill has a higher rating than Andrew Luck’s 82.4. Read more here: http://miamiherald.typepad.com/spor...to-pittsburgh-marlins-heat.html#storylink=cpy
Dimitri Patterson doesn't look to be healthy this season he re aggravates his leg every game he finally plays in.
If he ever gets completely healthy, he's a 'good' addition to the secondary.... But... that is one big "IF" so far this season. We'd better hope one of, if not both of, the young'uns begins to show up with some craft and consistency fairly soon! We would be up the creek without a paddle if Grimes gets a multi-game or season ending injury.
They better be stepping up anyway. With Grimes and Carroll free agents and Patterson a strong candidate to be released due to his cap savings, Jamar Taylor and Will Davis both may be thrust into action and be relied upon next year.
Grimes has just been amazing such a small package of dynamite. If he goes down things will get ugly fast.
Damn are there really 22 qbs with a better qbr rating... He better learn to soften a defense up with his legs early in the football game..which in return will help him get softer coverage..it's not rocket science Ryan..get in the damn game early and set the tone.
A lot of those QB ratings are separated by a point or a fraction of a point Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2
If you took away two of Tannehill's prayer end of game INTs, it bumps him up to 85.4 which would be 20th. I also think it is worth noting that 4 of the players (Foles, McCown, Locker, Keenum) ranked higher have less than 200 pass attempts (Tannehill has 451), so one terrible game could really sway their overall numbers I believe (by terrible I mean 3 INTs)
