No, they won just enough games to keep from any real changes, so we get to have another season of mediocrity, losing games we should win and choking when it counts.
Yup. I'm not that worried. Offense just needs to execute: Hartline drop, Tanny misses Wallace. Gotta seize those opportunities. The defense just needs to key in on Spiller and Jackson. I mean, they're like the only two dangerous players the Bills have left.
It's definitely not all him and I'm just not a Tannehill believer yet. However, he hasn't played well either dude. The biggest play so far was that Hartline drop and that Woods catch. Two huge plays. Flipped field position for both and impacted points for both.
No doubt he needs to improve the deep ball, but no way can anybody say Tannehill is in the top 5 reasons we are down 10-0.
Thats why the threads about how we all of a sudden dont need to improve the o line were as premature as a teen on prom.
D needs to step up on the first drive in the 2nd half. Cant go down 17-0 before we touch the ball next
I'm not a big fan of Sherman, but I him see as less of a problem than the overall talent on the offense. They really don't have a true #1 RB and both Thomas and Miller are inconsistent and neither of them are good in the passing game as blockers. The OL has been a problem for most of this season, yet some fans seemed to think that it was getting better with McKinney and Clabo playing better in recent weeks. Obviously this game against a very solid defensive Bills team has once again exposed how ineffective this OL really is. The receivers have had a bad game so far and Tannehill doesn't appear comfortable throwing the ball today. Of course it is hard to blame him when he is under constant pressure every time he drops back. The offense has been terrible so far and the defense has given up too many plays to the Bills. Not exactly the the remedy needed to go into Buffalo and beat a Bills team which would like nothing better than to knock the Dolphins out of the playoffs.
We need to stop the screen, and run the ball better. When you know Thad won't beat you passing the ball, that's all you have to take care of on D. The D is doing their job, but the offense is flat, dropping balls, not pass or run protecting and Tannehill has underthrown another long ball.
SO NOW when someone says RT missed an open Wallace for a td, he's automatically considered an RT basher? wtf
Halftime across the NFL, seeing the big difference between a team like the Saints and Dolphins, both who have a lot to gain or lose this week. Saints down by 1 in a tough road game against a 10-4 opponent. Dolphins down by 10 against a 5 win opponent.
It's really not. Third time in 10+ years. Let's resign Philbin and Ireland to lifelong deals though!!!
i would like to see a read option where the qb actually takes it and runs instead of plowing into the line for a loss.
Aqua...you're my optimism in the midst of my pessimism!!! We need you dude. It's tough isn't? Just beat down so much...
Dude, we've had great starting field position, the run play calling has been awful, no screen passes, no slants, no play action or rollout, and you're thinking Sherman has done his job? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
they did already. o needs to score tds and d just needs to hold up and stop the run. don't think it will happen though.
