so? she willingly did this. no one forced her to do it, and she didn't pay anything. all she gave up was time. not to mention there is an element of that in her job anyway - selling beer.
All true, and the corporation made a concerted effort to increase and reward beer sales by all waitresses who were willing to seek compensation over and above their normal pay ~ i.e. a reward. So if the facts supported a WRITTEN "TOYOTA" reward, and not just a verbal "TOY YODA" reward then I say she has a legitimate argument....so do the courts.
Funny story - To me anyways Well brains and hooters do not match at all... Heres a funny story: I lost my license on spring break one year so I had to use my passport for ID. Well we went to hooters and when i showed the waitress my passport she had no idea what it was. So I told her it was my U.S. Federal Marshall ID card, and that I was a US Federal Marshall. I traveld cross country to chase down people who broke out of prison. Then my friend told her was the owner of a local porn shop and offered her a job. When she asked for the number he gave her the Taco Bell #. Then he asked her what she did that weekend and she told him she smoked, drank and got f'ed up. When she said she smoked I turned and looked at her like I was going to arrest her for smoking the jane. She got scared, went up to my friend when he went to the bathroom and pleaded with him to make sure I didnt bust her.... Ahhhh, that was the most fun I ever had with a hooters girl (including certain other activities)
Flash your passport at a hooters girl and see what she says... Maybe its just the Cuse hooters girls that are brainless
well i agree on the written part.... but i would think Hooters would be smart enough to not do that. given that she won her case though, i'd guess that it probably was written somewhere. wish we could get more information on this. otherwise just seems like a furthering of the collapse of the practicality of the judicial system
Actually, the girl will probably win the case. Link here http://www.sptimes.com/News/072801/State/Dream_car_is_a__toy_Y.shtml You have to scroll down past the additional links.
so... did she have to give the toy Yoda back as part of the settlement? The "False" was strong with this one...
