Depends on free agency. And to be honest if somehow we got the combination of Eric Ebron, Allen Robinson and Lache Seastrunk in the first three rounds I could care less about which OL we got and where. Rebuilding the OL is going to be a multi year project anyway. Can't do it all in one year. God that would be a hell of a skill position. Mike Wallace, Brian Hartline and Allen Robinson with Charles Clay and Eric Ebron, Lamar Miller and Lache Seastrunk. Jesus that's a lot of speed and ability. If you can use the remaining $19 million after franchising Brent Grimes to snag Anthony Collins, Geoff Schwartz and someone at right tackle...then you have Wesley Johnson compete with Nate Garner and Sam Brenner for the left guard position...that could be a hell of an offense.
Chicago seemed to pull it off with only Garza remaining at Center. They did alright outside of using Jordan Mills their 5th rounder who set a PFF record for hurries with 62 and had a brutal -31.2 pass blocking rating ;p The rest was tolerable lol.
You have to view Jordan Mills utter failure as part of the extremely difficult task of replacing four out of five linemen in one off season with limited resources. To do it, you're going to have to rely on someone that you're not sure about and that person (or one of the others) will probably end up a Jordan Mills.
Yeah, would be a huge bang for the buck and leave money for FA like you said. I really prefer FA for linemen anyways. I trust proven NFL performers more.

Pretty much, and our hands our tied with all of our key FA's, the Draft is the one way to acquire talent we can afford, and the OL is pretty much decimated at this point, not a Starter among them from 2013 may start Day 1 in 2014. I'm on record in NOT wanting an OL with a first rd pick, if a LG is there, it would make a lot of sense for us to take them, it has been an open wound for a long time..ditto RG where JJerry simply should no longer be on our roster.
Is that what you meant to say, take a LG round 1? Or maybe I'm reading that wrong. Ideally we lock up a good FA LT for at least 3 years then go BPA round 1, or even trade back if we can get an extra pick. Two mid round picks on O line, the rest BPA. Plenty of exciting players out there. I wd like an RB, CB and maybe DL or TE.

Yeah he really won't be but I couldnt pass him up. Rookie bookends is scary but Moses has the goods as well. I'd hope we sign an OT in free agency thoigh.

Seastrunk over Carlos Hyde was a tough choice but ever since CK started talking up Seastrunk I have loved what I've read and watched on him, so he was just too hard to pass up even though I still like Miller and Hyde is a better compliment to him.

Me too. Toughest choices were Lache Seastrunk with Shayne Skov still available, Bruce Ellington with Trai Turner and Kareem Martin still available. Right now my mindset is that our left tackle is coming to us via free agency so that's why I didn't go for a tackle terribly high.

Certainly doubtful, I was just going by what was there. I was thinking maybe WR Brandin Cooks if Lewan was gone, go for another offensive weapon. As per Lewan being there at #19, I'm still surprised that David DeCastro lasted until #24, even though he's a Guard. You never know.
I think that if trading up for Tavon Austin was in play last year that drafting Cooks at 19 is this year. (I think that was a coaching staff want vs an Ireland want) The guy who had the job is coming off of injury, and the position has proven to be huge in the Dolphins offense. I think Cooks has the chance to be truly special. Tackle gets gets the most attention in free agency IMO. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Just for sh*ts and giggles, I picked strictly the highest rated remaining player at each pick, and it kind of shows why a team cannot be totally locked into that.
