If it's at E3 then it's news as far as this thread is concerned. What I want to know: what the hell happened to The Last Guardian? Presumably its development has been moved to PS4... if it still exists. And a new game from Monolith is very welcome. Edit: last year's sneak of X, Monolith's new game. Looks like Xenosaga Episode III + Xenoblade.
Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire announced, coming November 2014 http://www.vg247.com/2014/05/07/pok...lpha-sapphire-announced-coming-november-2014/
Also, apparently, the Wii U is no longer selling at a loss.... so, kudos to them, I suppose. http://www.vg247.com/2014/05/08/nintendo-announces-new-nfc-platform-for-show-at-e3-2014/
Looking forward to seeing more of Dragon Age: Inquisition, Battlefront 3, Assassin's Creed new titles, and Madden 15. Also seems a ways away but any new information on the next Uncharted would be neat.
I was going to say the exact same thing, minus Battlefront. Those are what I care about. A tease of the next Mass Effect would be cool too, with a promise to show it in 2015.
I saw Bigfoot in San Andreas… As for Uncharted 4, there's a rumor it'll be part of Sony's presentation this year. That makes sense, it's already been a decent length of time since Uncharted 3.
Not E3 specific, but Xbox One is making a kinect-less Sku at $399. But, to me, that's a lot less appealing of a device than either the ps4 or with the kinect for $100 more. I know some people are ridiculously against the kinect for various reasons, but Xbox one is relatively un-noteworthy without it.
I expected that. They belatedly announced a PC version, and I expect they have to do some redevelopment to accommodate. Tom Clancy's death probably threw a monkey wrench into things. And then the rumor of two AC games coming out this year... it all means that something had to give. I can see Ubi using the late spring/early summer every year for a secondary franchise. This year it's Watch Dogs. Next year, The Division. The year after that, Watch Dogs 2? Something new?
So Halo 5 just got announced today? I haven't had the chance to read anything because of work. 1 hr to go!
!!!RUMOR!!! Someone on the Zelda Informer forums posted a list of games to be shown by Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo in their press conferences. Most likely this is bull****, but...
"Pokken Fighters" was trademarked by Nintendo, and is rumored to be a Pokemon fighting game. So, there may be some truth to that list.
Just a hunch, but it could be a portmanteau of sorts. Pok would be short for Pokemon (of course), and Ken is a Japanese word for fist.
That's possible. We'll see, though. A Pokemon fighting game separate from Smash Bros doesn't make much sense to me.
Ubisoft's E3 presentation starts at 6 PM Eastern/3 PM Pacific on June 9. They'll stream on Youtube and Twitch (which is sort of the same thing now). I like this approach, more companies should do this. They've also announced their lineup. Sadly that awful Aisha Taylor host lady is coming back for a third year.
The Division has really piqued my interest. Could be one of the greatest MP games out there. The Division along with Destiny should really give massively multilayer genres a new dimension.
Hey, I like Aisha! I haven't seen her in anything in years though. She was great on Talk Soup in the late 90s.
So EA under the Battlefield brand was rumored to be making a "police" game. Seems like it is beyond rumors, but Dice is not on the case.
There were some hints about that a few months ago, IIRC. Should be interesting to see. Looks like EA is doing to Battlefield what Activision did with Call of Duty; create sub branches of the franchise, give them to different developers. She's awful reading badly written lines on stage.
I havent been able to see anything about E3 in years, since before G4 changed their format and was an all video game channel. Miss those days.
She's in Archer.I am fiending for more The Division footage. Definitely the game I'm most psyched for.
I know, its torture, but at the same time I never really expected a 2014 release when it debuted. I would just like to see more gameplay action like the one they came out with at last year's E3.
