Guy won't learn, lots of talent and can recall people liking his game and wanted to make a trade for him last yr
I don't think employers should have the right to drug test, and I don't think what he did was wrong. In fact what I think he did was right, which is doing with his own body what he sees fit. I find it funny he could be an alcoholic and that is perfectly fine if he produces, but if he uses another type of substance its so terrible he must be suspended. I feel if you are going to drug test players, owners, CEO's, coaches, and everyone else in every organization should be subject to it as well. I'll love it when an owner is suspended and loses his profit for the season for smoking pot. Then maybe everyone will see how F'ing ridiculous it is.
I think Gordon is addicted to MJ, like Blackmon was addicted to alcohol, when the consequences for consuming are well known and it is done anyway, it does show a disregard for consequences in favor of BUT I WANT IT!!!!. Entitled much?
Meanwhile, Gordon can miss either 8 games, or an entire season. Do better, if he is not addicted, then do explain.
It's his right as a human being born on the planet Earth to do whatever he pleases with his body. I've never met a person addicted to Marijuana. I know MANY MANY people who smoke daily. None of them have issues stopping for any period of time when they have a reason to, Cannabis is non-addicting and the only people who believe it is are those who make their living promoting "sober life" and whom have an agenda. I smoke every day, but I had money issues last week. You know what I did? I didn't smoke at all this week. Even if you want to believe it is addicting, it has no negative consequences in life other than the ridiculous ones placed upon people by a judgmental society. To go further, if he played in California he would certainly be able to obtain medical marijuana for aches and pains associated with football (Though the league would still suspend him). Yet you'd probably rather him use pharmaceutical pain relievers which are 1000x worse for a human being. **** I played the entire GM league on this website baked out of my mind. You know what I did? Put a damn great team together and get nominated for a few of the end of year awards so far. I honestly feel like the burden of proof is on you to show me why it's somehow wrong or bad. If a law is not wrong or bad you should break it every chance you get. That is how change happens. Also offer me $1,000,000 to quit. I wouldn't take it. You know why? Money means jack s**t in life. Offer me world peace to quit. I will.
Hmm, it's his "right', perhaps, that does not erase an addiction to a substance. And the consequences that can come from being addicted.
I agree that pot is no big deal but the nfl policy is clear. Dont like it than find a job elsewhere. They might be wrong but they are clear that employees cant use drugs without a prescription.
So you let things that are apparently worthless prevent you from doing what you want (smoking), but don't let something that matters influence that decision? I mean world peace matters to you obviously, yet the lack of it does not stop you from smoking. Yet the lack of something that is worth nothing does? Seems a bit misguided to me. If anything, if world peace actually matters and money does not, you'd smoke all the time regardless of money, but you wouldn't smoke until there was world peace.
I'm assuming he was busted for weed, which is in no way shape or form even mildly addictive. anyone who says otherwise is completely basing their opinion on zero facts. Having said that, if my company did random drug testing and I knew I could lose my job for smoking I would never smoke again. To play with your livelihood like that is completely stupid as hell. any athlete that gets busted multiple times deserves to be suspended permanently.
Odd, everything from chocolate to shopping can create addictions, yet, magically, not mary jane> Now THAT is a ***** pass, MJ can do no wrong
As with anything, the point to be made is MJ CAN be addictive, to pretend that it magically cannot be addictive, despite the evidence, is mere delusional bias.
LSD and Salvia are much more psycho active and carry no risk of addiction. Generally speaking natural psycho active drugs like Salvia, Cannabis and Mushrooms are the least addictive drugs possible.
No, any behavior can become addictive but that doesn't mean the object in question caused the addiction. Even with his speeding I still don't think Gordon has done anything wrong except well...speeding.
The guy is an idiot. This was never about alcohol though and the two are pretty unrelated aside from his overall idiocy.
...or it does belie the responsible consumption of MJ notion, chances are good there is more going on then merely MJ
No its not connected at all. There are two separate entities. I smoke and hardly ever drink. Its comes down to the individual person and what they want out of their experience. An idiot will be an idiot with any substance, including food.
Which is true, my quibble is with the notion that MJ is completely healthy to consume, when in fact it usually is a mix of things and MJ is just one component of the mix.
Well sure if you want to mix a bunch of things sure. A lot of people don't though, in fact most smokers I know dislike alcohol. Not all of course. There will always be a level of personal responsibility with everything.
Between this and Manziel getting caught rolling up a dollar bill in a Vegas bathroom, Cleveland is going to implode, now can you imagine if Bron DOESN'T go there hahahahahahah...
Between this and Manziel, I'd assume the people that are blasting the Dolphins organization and were pissed we didn't land Farmer are changing their tune? No, that won't happen here.
