Recently had a windows update. My wifi was going on and off. Tried to update drivers and it said it was fine. The dell website said different (should have started there, but didn't...) I read that I should uninstall something... and then search hardware to re-install something... and yeah. I dun goof'd. I had a dell wireless Wlan card and it's gone now. And so is my wifi. How do I recover it? edit: or is it network card and not adapter? I dunno..

Uinstall the card, boot the computer, then shut it off, install and restart and see if it "finds" the new hardware
Downloads to "Downloads" folder, or wherever you have set your files to download to. Default folder is "Downloads", obviously. Should be able to find it there, or if you can't, re-download it, and when it finishes, right click the file (as it will be showing the download in the bottom of your browser window, assuming you are using Chrome or Firefox) and and select "open in folder" or something like that, which will open the downloaded to location, and will show your file.
