would never happen but I would love it if lebron picked cleveland and dan gilbert was like cool bro you quit on us we dont want you. Then the heat turned around and said cool bro you wanted to leave bye.
All right, FWIW, a RealGM insider (I know, I know) has stated that everything is leaning towards a 2 years deal for LJ here in Miami. Normally, I would write the guy off, but he did call LJ coming in 2010 and the mods there confirmed that he works for Lisa Joseph, who is Wade's publicist.
Cant see how anyone could be upset if he goes to Cleveland...if he goes back, hes got real reasons to do so. I appreciate what hes done in Miami. That said...it will make me want to whoop their *** and keep the Cavs from ever getting a Championship.
Also, any reports of requested security for LJ's Coral Gables home? If not, that should be good for us, no? I'm grasping at straws here.
I will no longer believe morals matter to Lebron if he chooses Cleveland. Yeah play for the crybaby owner who called you a coward and fought against everything you believe in during the lockout. If its true when Lebron says he no longer cares what people think, he will choose Miami.
Dude, do yourself a favor and quit trying to read the tea leaves. 99.9% of them are imaginary or don't mean a damned thing. Regardless of his decision I feel pretty safe saying there is almost nothing out there but rampant speculation still and trying to winnow the wheat from the chaff is an exercise in futility.
Can you imagine being just some college kid at his skills camp, and you guard him and pick him, then it becomes clearly evident that you pissed him off and he presses you at that point....hahahah...during all of this melodrama? Talk about an experience man...I wish..
It never made sense to fly back to Akron just to fly the other way back to Brazil (regardless of if a decision was to be made).
I can't even imagine it because Lebron would eviscerate my 5'8 white non athletic slow *** so fast it would be like watching something on shark week.
Who knows? Are Savannah and the kids going with him? If not, maybe he wanted to see them before he left. Who knows, and it probably doesn't matter one way or another, but Lloyd from the ABJ reported it, so people are talking about it
I would imagine it would be something like this for us.....hahah...btw U fans this is your new running back.....
I love LeBatard Latest tweet: "Extra security NOT being sent to LeBron's Coral Gables home. Extra STRIPPERS are" lol
It is a one on one of a running back and some other dude, and he dekes him right out of shorts....crazy...
How you be Cavaliers when your owner is a slave driver! In Cleveland you have snow! In Miami we have hos!
I sense that Miami fans are on pins and needles about this but I don't sense any malice if he does leave. At best, just confusion. Clearly his best chance at continuing to rack up trophies would be in Miami. I think some of LeBron's Miami teammates (ehem Wade) may be ticked though. But it's their wallet that gets hit, not Miami fans wallets.
I'm about to change my twitter bio and "report" that LeBron James has agreed to a 2 year deal to remain a member of the Miami Heat. I have 6600 twitter followers. It would be like lighting a match in a gas tank.
A baseball reporter brought an interesting point....he goes to Cleveland? And wins just 1 ring with them, his legacy is set, almost God like.... He stays in Miami? He has to win 3,4,5,6....... I found that interesting and actually almost believable BUT not for 2 more years.....in 2 years he can still do that which is why he isnt leaving Miami....in 2? All bets are off IMO...
Then you are HIGHLY likely to be disappointed. No matter what happens I don't think you see him sign a long term deal. Would be dumb of him really considering a different CBA will likely be in play in a couple of years
Don't get me wrong, it would suck. but as a family man, if going back to Cleveland is that important to them, then so be it. But if we hear that he's leaving because of Mike Miller, Riley's press conference or the fact his boys weren't given free courtside seats, then I will be pissed.
I'll take a 2 year deal. I want to be his incumbent team when 2016 free agency comes around and we can offer the most money and a chance to pick his new teammates.
Gentleman.....fans of the heat....bandwagon fans of the heat.... LeBron James is coming home. James has a knack for always making the best decision on and off the court, in 2010 he made the correct "basketball move" and moved onto a better roster. In just a few hours he will do the same thing again. You should appreciate what he brought to the city of Miami that it otherwise would not have sniffed, 4 straight finals appearances. Don't feel jaded and burn his jersey or act like he is doing anything wrong. He simply is a loyal person who has unfinished buisness in his home state. Take it like men, and try not to be sore losers and I won't quote all of the ridiculous matter of fact statements some of you have made the past couple of weeks. Just as I did after the finals, I will let you eat your crow at your own pace. 2014-15.....the King has returned.
I think that's the best case scenario. Two year deal and then Riley has to pitch him on a new configuration
That is true. But if he goes to Cleveland and DOESN'T win a ring his legacy is "the guy that couldn't get it done without 3x champion Wade." And he's stuck there for the rest of his career no matter what happens. You can't burn Cleveland twice.
Ohhhhhhhhh please doooooooooo....muahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa will it cause bad mojo for the Phins though?
