EVERYONE sans Joique Bell and possibly Keenan Allen will be available for trade throughout the year regardless of whether or not they're performing well since I'd like to assemble my own team rather than just carry over the inherited one.

So if you're in a pinch for a WR or RB and one of my guys is playing well, hit me up. I should be agreeable to a fair trade. Draft picks or a swap of draft picks to move up are always welcomed.

Was there any talk last year of expanding roster size (it might have been the year before)? I know I would be open to expanding the size by 1 or 2 spots. With a 3 round rookie draft, the 3rd round is usual rookie flyers and it can be hard to find roster space for them. Especially during the season when you face injuries and you need roster spots for pickups, you don't want to have to cut your rookie flyers (ugh Zac Stacy last year).

Honestly I don't see a problem with the trade. Three is no guarantee you can find a productive WR at 10 in a rookie draft. Especially in PPR.

I get Trowas point honestly; hes basing it on TD productivity but I think hes failing to realize that TDs for a WR are purely luck unless youre a 6'4 guy in the red zone.

TD wise he isn't a HR threat but he is very productive. I don't think Latimer or Benjamin are going to be very reliable their rookies year. He can grab a similar WR at 20.

I don't think it's that bad. Hartline has decent value since its PPR. A drop in 10 spots in rookie draft isn't that much considering after top rookies its all a crapshoot.

exactly. Hartline was a WR2 last year and might be in a better situation this year in Lazor's offense. At least Doc knows what he's getting with him. I on the other hand am banking on whomever I take becoming a WR1, which is far from a given and might not even happen the first couple years, and I'm giving up a 2nd rounder in a very deep WR draft class to do so.

What I think is silly about it is I have the absolute WORST roster in the league and am not a threat to anyone yet Trowa is whining about a trade that wasn't questioned by anyone else but himself. Ridiculous.

Hmph, where was this trade monitoring concern of yours last year when I traded you Foles, Tony Gonzalez, Rashad Jennings, and Mark Ingram for Rob Gronkowski? You of ALL people should probably remain quieter about recommending a vote to veto. :wink2:

Its one thing to value rookies. Its another to completely dismiss solid vets for a 10 spot drop in the draft.

different league. Dynasty is MUCH different. Your premise doesnt hold weight. But good job handing him a good team!

exactly, so you should've said no in principle if you're such a crusader for precise trade equality like you're trying to display here. Cant have your cake and eat it too dude.

If anything, me blessing you with such a great trade that you in turn used to win a championship with should've bought me a little gratitude on your part and leeway from criticism on future trades rather than this silly witch hunt.

My premise holds plenty of weight IMO. This being a dynasty league doesn't change the fact the Gronk trade was lopsided, does it? That's the point. That trade was significantly more lopsided and veto-worthy than this inconspicuous Hartline one, yet Richard didn't have a problem with it since it clearly benefitted his team. But now all of a sudden he takes this holier than thou stance as if he's a staunch unwavering supporter of trade equality.

What I'm saying is, if Richard is the type of person to be okay with that lopsided Gronk trade, especially with him being the benefactor, then he should probably zip it regarding trades that are ten times more fair on paper.

Not in this league so I can basically STFU I understand, but from my perspective he's gaining immediate production for a ten slot drop, the draft is a COMPLETE gamble. The player taken may never do as well as Hartline who at least should provide consistent points on a week to week basis.
