He doesn't want that, He just wants to have another reason to snivel, whine and complain.

They don't call it so tight when it's the 2nd and 3rd string players.

It seems to me that illegal contact has been being called at least as much in recent seasons as def holding or PI.

I wanted us to look into terrelle Pryor this offseason once we signed lazor, I thought I was the only one left that believes there is a scheme that he could be a winning qb in, Pete Carroll I think saw the same, results in that offense look positive thus far

The Packers first drive just now against the Rams, brilliant. Aaron Rodgers is just too good.

Same with Cincy, after the Jests went 3 and out...Dalton 43 yd perfect pass.

I saw the 1st half of this one -- it seemed as thought every Pats' 3rd down lead to a 1st down at the hands (pun intended) of a defensive holding penalty. On one occasion, the defensive back merely had his hand "checking" the receiver as he crossed. As soft a call as you can get. Right now, I find the game unwatchable.

Russell Wilson just has something special. His poise and field awareness are great to watch. He makes so many plays because he just has confidence in his legs and where he will run.

Have to agree. Hadn't watched too much of him until the super bowl, but I've went back and watched some more since, and aside from a few bumps, he's had a kick-*** career so far...game manager my ***...kid's got it.

talk about a coach embracing a skillset, there is no constriction, no talk of how he must stay in the pocket more, no talk of risk when he takes off..he just plays the game with pure feel, improvisation, and the best escapability in the league..

How bout that venue DF?.... Unreal money maker and advantage..sold out, no one leaves in the fourth in a blowout and stands when when defense is on the field in the fourth...that venue is the inspiration to everything that franchise has become.

He so quick with his mechanics, fun, it's also one of the reasons why I thought Andy Dalton would be successful in this league, quick mechanics.

thats good news imo..I think he identified middle linebacker and right tackle as our two biggest weaknesses and when Shazier got picked he went with James..

It's really impressive what that venue is doing on it's own..and so easy to replicate, like super easy, and no one can figure it out the dynamics, the impact, and the money involved...lol

As far as your comment about wake VT, I've seen him up very close, lets just leave it at that.

I wonder if there is some kind of tax based reason..or..technicality that would prohibit Ross from just rebuilding and creating what you say

not having the vision necessary VT, I truly believe that no one gets it...I mean you keep seeing stadiums popping up but none of them are being built to spec with one purpose in my mind, to intimidate, it's all bells and whistles...pure stupidity considering there is a genius blueprint already out there that can show you everything from impact on the game, player performance, and monetary advantages thru ticket sales, merchandise, and advertising..and here's the kicker, not expensive to build when your #1 priority is to be the best 12 the man advantage in the game..

Last night Shazier had the best rookie performace I've seen so far this preseason. I checked out Steelers camp last week too, and the guy is just so quick and fluid for his size. Last night the instincts flashed with the pursuit. I think being surrounded by those veterans on D is helping him a lot. Really impressive rookie.

Just listened to twenty mins of York the owner of the 49's in the booth talking about his new stadium..

    1) great wifi, 5 mins on it.

    2) vantage point, not a bad view in the house.

    3) standing area, great area with a beer garden feel

    4) traffic

    5) they wanted more seats in the lower bowl for the vantage point.

    6) they have the best garlic fries..

Not one fu&&in word about how important game day atmoshere, intimacy, how they purposely built the stadium to be as closest to the field as legally allowed, and how crowd noise was important to them, not one word, wow man, these suits are so freakin dumb, and it's because their not football people, their just businessmen who really truly don't get it..their biggest rival is laughing at them right now... laughing..dropped the ball niner boys.

If he identified MLB as one of the two biggest weaknesses, then why didn't he draft a pure Mike in the 2nd or 3rd? We had 2 chances at Chris Borland. Why not take Max Bullough in the 6th?

Watching some of the Panthers game.. looks like the same old same old. Great defensive play, inaccurate QB play.

Edit: Really hope Misi or Tripp turn into a Luke Kuechly type for us.

I don't have the panthers making playoffs, not a fan of newtons arm talent..

D' Anthony housed one last week , looks good this week, had us drafting him but he went one pick ahead of us when we took Aikens..that dude got no respect predraft..

I'm not either, I think he is overrated.. he's good, but he is not great and I doubt he ever will be. I have the Bucs winning the division by one game over the Saints, Falcons third, Panthers dead last.

I think as fans we need to realize just because we like a guy, it doesn't mean he is a no brainer or can't miss prospect. Maybe Hickey didn't grade those guys highly enough to take them.

Though I admit I could have lived without Hazel.

The main problem I have is in the 6th round wide receiver didn't look like a spot that could even make the team.

Hazel would have had to look great to make the team at this point.

As much as I like Misi, he will never approach Kuechly's level, and Tripp likely won't either even if he turns into a good player.
