Well as we all know E3 is this week and in honor of that I thought that it would be nice if we could all just post what info. we find in this thread. That way we won't have several threads all about E3. E3 starts with Microsoft's press conference at 1:30pm Eastern Monday July 14 so I would expect info. to start pouring out after that. Hopefully this thread will be useful and the mods will leave it up.
Here is some early info. released yesterday regarding the Xbox 360 Pro price cut, I posted it in another thread but I'll also put it here since I'm sure Microsoft will give more info. out today. New developments in the story have just became official (THERE WON'T BE A PRICE REDUCTION FOR THE PRO BUT RATHER THE 20GB WILL BE PHASED OUT FOR A 60GB MODEL WITH THE 20GB AT $299 "WHILE SUPPLIES LAST"). Here are the details: The 20GB Pro will be $299 "While Supplies Last" then the 60GB Pro will debut at $349 in early August. So the new lineup will be the Xbox 360 Arcade = $279, Xbox 360 Pro 60 GB = $349, and the Xbox 360 Elite = $449 (which means the Arcade and Elite "will not" see a price cut). So the prices will be the same and this isn't actually a price cut but rather the 20GB being phased out and discounted with a new 60GB taking its place at the $349 price. Basically the Pro will now be 60GB instead of 20GB and that's the only difference and if you can find a 20GB its reduced sort of like a going out of business sale. Good news for me is that since I have the pro with best buy warranty if it dies after the pro's are phased out I guess I will get a 60 gig replacement. On a totally unrelated note does anyone know how to kill a 360 without leaving any marks?
Force too much power into the outlet your 360 is connected to. Or leave your 360 on non-stop, and put it in as tight a space as possible w/poor air circulation.
I'd open it and cut any of the main processor connectors. It's easy as hell to open the 360 without marks. Plus, if you have a heat gun, you can even put the "Void" seal back on lol

I had it Blu ray but added an E because I wasn't sure : / I say advantage Xbox, they have better titles IMO. This should help the 360 in Japan.
They are not helpless. They are going to lose out on a decent amount of sales since a decent amount of people are waiting for FF.
the 2 reasons i got a ps3 were blu ray, and ff13 i still love the ps3, i watch tons of movies on it and hot shots golf is great
Definitely agree, without the Sony Card I would have been one of those people waiting. But Maj made it seem like Sony is dead now.
